La Maison des Arts is a contemporary art centre housed in an early 19th-century
bourgeois house, which hosts visual art exhibitions and has developed an
outreach programme to make contemporary art accessible to all. The current
exhibition features works by some ten artists around the theme of repetition,
collections and series. It's an opportunity to take a closer look at our own
rituals, journeys, collections, obsessions, traditions and gestures to ward off
fate or heal traumas, whether they be individual or collective, conscious or
unconscious. Participants can continue their visit with a short break and a free
drink at the Estaminet de La Maison des Arts.

La Maison des Arts is een centrum voor hedendaagse kunst dat is gevestigd in een
burgerwoning uit het begin van de 19de eeuw. Het biedt plaats aan
tentoonstellingen voor plastische kunst en ontwikkelde een bemiddelingsprogramma
dat hedendaagse kunst toegankelijk maakt voor een breed publiek. La Maison des
Arts organiseert een tentoonstelling over rituelen. Keer op keer doet ons
stilstaan bij onze eigen rituelen, onze gebaren om het noodlot af te wenden of
een trauma te boven te komen, onze trajecten, collecties, obsessies en
tradities, of die nu individueel of collectief, bewust of onbewust zijn. De
deelnemers kunnen hun bezoek voortzetten met een kleine pauze in het Estaminet
de La Maison des Arts (gratis drankje).
