EGIDIUS | komt uit een wereld vol melodieën en ritmes. Zijn moeder stimuleerde de interesse in muziek en schreef hem in op het conservatorium. Begonnen als een jeugdige nieuwsgierigheid, groeide zijn fascinatie voor muziek geleidelijk uit tot een dagelijkse passie. Tijdens de pandemie begon egidius te experimenteren met synthesizers en hoge vocalen. Twee jaar later bracht hij zijn eerste EP uit. Hij zoekt harmonie door klassieke elementen van popmuziek te mengen met meer experimentele aspecten van muziek en geluid. Tijdens zijn live-set neemt egidius je mee op een dromerige reis terwijl hij synthesizers bespeelt, gecombineerd met zijn hoge en geautotunede zang.

ANNA ZHAO | (dans) brengt een zelf uitgewerkt stuk eigentijdse dans begeleid door een live gespeelde compositie van egidius. "Vroeger dacht ik dat dansen bestond uit het uitvoeren van de juiste passen en bewegingen die werden aangeleerd. Maar door deel te nemen aan improvisatiecursussen, zoals instant compositie, en het bestuderen van danstherapie, heb ik me gerealiseerd dat dansen veel meer kan zijn. Voor mij gaat het om bewegen op een manier die jezelf uitdrukt zonder de beperkingen van 'goed' of 'fout'. Dit stuk dans gaat over doen wat ik graag doe, bewegen op een manier die voor mij comfortabel voelt."

NYKOLAES & DANIËL PAUL | (support) zijn twee kunstenaars uit Brussel. Naast samenwerkende artiesten zijn ze ook huisgenoten. Ze brengen zacht gesproken nummers die gitaar en elektronische elementen combineren met een eerlijke zang, soms autotune. 'Neofolk', het heeft iets authentiek en omgevormd tot iets dat opnieuw glinstert en schittert. Verwacht rare pop, omgekeerde folk, emotionele teksten in het Nederlands en Engels. Iemand op een gitaar die huilt. Lammetjes op een scherm. Gras onder je voeten. Zon in je ogen.

"Tarara Boum patei" en alleman zingt mei! Een café-chantant in de sfeer van een oergezellig café. Mensen met een eigenzinnige kijk op de wereld vinden er elkaar en geven commentaar op al wat er leeft. Een Bourgondisch gerecht in een typisch Brussels sausje. Tarara Boum Patei, de 4de creatie van de Zinnefolee, het Brussels koor met mannen en vrouwen van allerlei pluimage. De liedjes die ze brengen staan niet wars van maatschappelijk engagement. Heel wat teksten werden hertaald en gekruid in het Brussels dialect, maar het publiek zal ook diverse talen herkennen van de Brusselse metropool. De Zinnefolee, een te gekke bende die zingt zoals ze gebekt is, soms met een vleugje nostalgie, soms met een grote mond. Een flinke dosis zwans en ambiance voert de boventoon en het publiek wordt meegezogen in een surrealistische Brusselse sfeer!

Aptly titled "DIRTY TRACKS FOR CLUBBING," their album showcases a thrilling blend of pulsating beats, edgy bass riffs and noise guitar, challenging the norms and pushing the boundaries of conventional music; they have successfully carved out a distinct and compelling identity in the music scene.Their international first release will be via Fuzz Club Records, out on May 2024.The WRS was born from the jams of three old friends who met on the benches of the St Joseph institute in Charleroi. Met hun energieke concerten waarin de danscultuur en harde gitaren naadloos in elkaar overvloeien, heeft de band sterke live reputatie opgebouwd.Geïnspireerd door krautrock en industriële techno, verkent MÁQUINA onbevreesd de grenzen van deze genres door elementen van rock en elektronische muziek in hun unieke geluid te verwerken. Met de toepasselijke titel "DIRTY TRACKS FOR CLUBBING" laat hun album een opwindende mix horen van pulserende beats, scherpe basriffs en noise gitaar, waarbij ze de normen uitdagen en de grenzen van conventionele muziek verleggen; ze hebben met succes een aparte en meeslepende identiteit in de muziekscene gecreëerd. Hun eerste internationale release zal verschijnen op Fuzz Club Records in mei 2024.The WRS is ontstaan uit de jams van drie oude vrienden die elkaar ontmoetten op de banken van het Sint-Jozefinstituut in Charleroi. Ze komen uit verschillende muzikale milieus, maar delen toch dezelfde passie voor psychedelica, DIY en fuzzy gitaren.
