Children of Al-Andalus

Screened as part of the exhibition « Tanger. Ville mythique », co-organized by the Jewish Museum of Belgium and Paul Dahan of the Center for Judeo-Moroccan Culture (CCJM), the Moroccan-Dutch documentary "The Children of Al-Andalus", directed by Rick Leeuwestein and Sjoerd Schipper, embodies an important chapter of the European history.

The historical period of Al-Andalus, with an unprecedented achievement of intellectual, cultural and artistic prosperity, is indeed one of the foundations of our current civilization.
