Figure singulière du monde de l’électronica contemporaine, l’Américaine Jlin se distingue par sa musique rythmiquement complexe et étonnante. Pas surprenant avec des influences aussi diverses que le Chicago footwork, Miles Davis et Eartha Kitt, ainsi que la richesse métrique d'Igor Stravinsky et les répétitions obsessionnelles de Philip Glass. Sa musique pleine d’énergie, ses polyrythmies féroces et ses sons bruts et sombres envoûtent l’auditeur en deux temps trois mouvements. Jlin a collaboré avec des grands noms tels que William Basinski, Holly Herndon et SOPHIE et a, entre autres, écrit des œuvres pour le Kronos Quartet. Son dernier EP, Perspective, lui a valu une nomination au prix Pulitzer.

Lauréat du premier prix (et du Prix du Public) au Concours International de Guitare du Montreux Jazz Festival 2014, Alex Goodman a été salué comme « l’un des talents les plus prometteurs de [sa] génération de jazz » (JazzTimes), ainsi que comme « une voix musicale incontestable » (Guitar International). Ce guitariste a sorti sept albums en tant que leader ou co-leader. Son premier opus ‘Bridges,’ sorti en 2011, a été nominé pour un JUNO comme meilleur disque de jazz contemporain de l’année. Le guitariste figure sur des enregistrements aux côtés d’artistes renommés tels que John Patitucci, Dave Douglas, Ambrose Akinmusire, Dick Oatts, Mike Rodriguez et Rich Perry. Billy Strayhorn and Duke Ellington Tribute Simon Rigter (tenorsax), Jasper Soffers(piano), Jean-Louis Rassinfosse (bass),Luc Vanden Bosch (drums) Being the son of saxophone player Bob Rigter, Simon Rigter (The Netherlands, 1973) grew up in a musical environment. At age 10 he started taking classical flute lessons and at age 12 Simon started playing the saxophone. He studied at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague from 1989 until 1996, where he was taught by John Ruocco. Subsequently, he studied with Ferdinand Povel at the Hilversum Conservatoire. He graduated in 1997. As a recording artist Simon can be heard with Dutch Jazz Orchestra, Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, Rotterdam Jazz Orchestra, The Reeds, Curtis Fuller, Slide Hampton, John Marshall, Cees Slinger, Victor Kaihatu, . He performed with George Coleman, Alvin Queen, Ferdinand Povel, Ruud Jacobs, Pim Jacobs, Frans Elsen and toured in China, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, India, Israel, Jamaica, Japan, and South America. Simon is a teacher at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and plays 1st tenor in The Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw. He also plays with Bop2B, Equinox, The Ruud Breuls/Simon Rigter Quintet, The Simon Rigter Quartet and Tenor Conclave. In the winter of 2022 Simon released a ballad album entitled Growing Up. Violon : Vilmos Csikos, Violon/Alto : Pál Lászlo Szomora Piano : László Rácz Vilmos Csikos obtained his Master degree in the class of Yossif Ivanov at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with great distinction. 1st prize at the Andrea Postacchini International Violin Competition in 2007 (Fermo, Italy). 1st prize at the Remember Enescu International Violin Competition in 2007 (Sinaia, Romania). 1st prize at the "Young Belgian Talent" Competition in 2015 (Brussels, Belgium). 1st Prize at the Leonid Kogan International Violin Competition in 2017 (Brussels, Belgium). 1st Prize at the Henry Vieuxtemps International Violin Competition in 2020 (Verviers, Belgium). Pal Laszlo Szomora started to play violin at the age of 4 with his first teacher and his father Pal Szomora, later he was following lessons with Szasz Jozsefne in Budapest. From 2013 he has been studying with Mikhail Bezverkhny (winner of Queen Elisabeth Competition in 1976). In his early age he is a 1st prize winner of numerous national and international competitions: the Thrid Rados Deszo Violin Competition (Budapest, Hungary), International Competition ‘Jonge Solisten aan Zee’ (Oostende, Belgium), Solosists Competition ‘Jong Symfonisch Gent’ (Gent, Belgium), International Arthur Grumiaux Violin Competition (Brussels, Belgium). Laszlo Racz began learning piano at the age of 9. From 2006 to 2010 he studied with Gabor Nagy and Livia Kelemen. In 2008 he won the Bartok Bela competition in Budapest. At 14 he played in Vienna for Sophia Rachlin, who introduced him to Michaela Ursuleasa. In 2010 he entered Mihaela's “Class for Special Talents” at the Music and Art Private University of the City of Vienna. Laszlo then continued his work with Klaus Sticken. In 2014, Laszlo began his bachelor's degree in Thomas Kreuzberger's class. Ikeda garde néanmoins le contrôle de tout cela de manière magistrale. Il interprète Ultratronics en direct en combinaison avec une projection visuelle générée à partir d'une immense quantité de données. New directions in music! The original unit of the trio can already count on many years of sessioning and playing together. Jordi's compositions, originals -mostly by Monk and Ornette Coleman- standards, free impro, the band's repertoire is quite broad, always adapting to the vibe and to the acoustic space of venues. To spice things up, I (as Jordi the leader)/we are delighted to invite another partner-in-crime, the talented Lynn Cassiers, who will add her pristine voice and spaced-out electronic set to the mix!
