(Drums) Swing’it is the story of a group of dappers diggin’ the 20s era. Founded
by the Norwegian band leader Martin Jarl whilst studying jazz music in London,
this band has developed into one of the most successful trad jazz bands in
Norway and Europe. They take the audience on a journey 100 years back in time to
the 1920s New Orleans, telling stories about the roaring 20s and the foundation
of jazz; about glamour, glitter and the Great Gatsby; about bootleggers,
speakeasies and illegal parties during the Prohibition and flappers and dappers
partying their nights away in the opulence and decadence of the Golden

Jordi Grognard Trio invites Lynn Cassiers
Beschrijving
New directions in music!
The original unit of the trio can already count on many years of sessioning and playing together. Jordi's compositions, originals -mostly by Monk and Ornette Coleman- standards, free impro, the band's repertoire is quite broad, always adapting to the vibe and to the acoustic space of venues. To spice things up, I (as Jordi the leader)/we are delighted to invite another partner-in-crime, the talented Lynn Cassiers, who will add her pristine voice and spaced-out electronic set to the mix!

Marin De Nattes (bass), Gabriel Long (trumpet),Audrey Dechèvre (drums), Théo
Debaisieux (piano) “What If? is a project by Théo Debaisieux, a jazz pianist.
It’s a set of original compositions written with the aim of experimenting with
new ways of exposing sound, deepening interactions and the role of each
instrument in the group. After researching into the repertoire of the great Fred
Hersch, Enrico Pieranunzi and Keith Jarrett, It became very important to try and
put down on paper all the inspiration they provided. And this with all the
precious help of his close circle. The music is characterized by the necessary
use of silence and space to express the feelings of personal experiences. FREE

Since a good five years, LVP has been growing and harvesting songs at a steady,
laid-back pace. They have been performed at times, in various settings, with
different musicians, though always occasionally, fleetingly.
Now it's time to come home, and dock the spaceship of artistic imagination in a
beautiful place. Old camaraderie does not rust, and neither does musical
kinship: LVP has rekindled the fire with three top-notch players and close
friends, in order to lend a decisive boost to his ripened batch of
sing-song-stories.
Here's a deep melancholy that refuses to wallow in the modern-day despair of
fearfulness, doubt, and identity-craving, but wants to connect and feed the
light as well as the darkness through a deeply felt humanity. With an unabating
life-force, these songs celebrate fragility and beauty, firmly pleading for
hope, love and understanding. Expect to be swaddled in warm sonorities and
swayed by a deeply earthed groove, straight from the underbelly.
