This event is part of 'Disruptive Harmonies', a series of avant-garde concerts held in the newly refurbished Terarken hall. With Farida Amadou, Jlin and Avalanche Kaito. Three artists who are pushing back the boundaries of music through their unique point of view and innovative approach.
An explosive mix described as “griot punk noise”. Singer Kaito Winse from Burkina Faso, guardian of the ancestral tradition of the griots, surrounds himself with two explosive musicians: drummer Benjamin Chaval, passionate about machines and ‘deconstructing’ sound, and anarcho-guitarist Nico Gitto. Since their discovery in Belgium in July 2021, the group has been received with great enthusiasm, spreading their experimental trance music on stages in Europe and Canada. During this concert, Avalanche Kaito will present a brand-new composition commissioned by Bozar as part of the Let's Zing Ensemble choral singing project. A world premiere not to be missed!

Cet événement fait partie de "Disruptive Harmonies", une série de concerts d'avant-garde organisés dans la salle Terarken, fraîchement rénovée. Avec Farida Amadou, Jlin et Avalanche Kaito. Trois artistes qui repoussent les frontières de la musique grâce à leur approche novatrice et leur vision singulière.
Un mélange explosif désigné comme du « griot punk noise ». Le chanteur burkinabé Kaito Winse, gardien de la tradition ancestrale des griots, s’entoure de deux musiciens détonants : le batteur Benjamin Chava, féru de machines et de « déstructuration » du son, et l’anarcho-guitariste Nico Gitto. Depuis sa découverte en Belgique en juillet 2021, le groupe suscite un grand engouement, propageant sa musique de transe expérimentale sur les scènes d’Europe et du Canada. Pendant ce concert, Avalanche Kaito présentera une toute nouvelle composition commandée par Bozar dans le cadre du projet de chant choral Let's Zing Ensemble. Une première mondiale à ne pas manquer !

Een explosieve mix onder de noemer ‘griot punk noise’. De Burkinese zanger Kaito Winse, hoeder van de voorouderlijke traditie van de griotten (volksvertellers), wordt omringd door twee explosieve muzikanten: drummer Benjamin Chava, verzot op machines en ‘destructurering’ van het geluid, en de anarcho-gitarist Nico Gitto. De band werd in juli 2021 in België ontdekt en kan sindsdien op een enthousiaste aanhang rekenen. Met experimentele trancemuziek maakt hij podia in Europa en Canada onveilig. Tijdens dit concert zal Avalanche Kaito een gloednieuwe compositie presenteren, in opdracht van Bozar, als onderdeel van het Let's Zing Ensemble koorproject. Een wereldpremière die je niet mag missen!
