Collective from the south of France, the Chinese Man trio, composed of High Ku,
Matteo & Sly, have been performing independently since their debut within their
label Chinese Man Records. Formed in 2004, they draw their influences primarily

Wat is ritme? Wat is een melodie? Wat zijn de verschillen tussen soorten

een rol weggelegd voor het publiek?
Tijdens de voorstelling ontdekt het (jonge) publiek hoe livemuziek werkt en
vooral hoe ze daar als persoon en als groep actief naar kunnen luisteren én deel
van kunnen uitmaken. De voorstelling gaat over muziek, maar ook over taal,
tellen en techniek.

Inspiré par Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Toro y Moi ou encore Lana Del Rey, le rappeur
londonien Jeshi se fait remarquer en 2017 avec la mixtape « The World's Spinning
Too Fast » sur laquelle il collabore avec Mura Masa. Si la musique de Jeshi
semble bien loin de ses influences, elle n'en est pas moins diversifiée. À
mi-chemin entre la drill britannique et le hip-hop underground américain, son
premier album « Universal Credit » lui offre une réelle crédibilité auprès de la

Un peu sinistre mais surtout drôle, Jeshi nous présente son expérience des

variërend van keramiek tot jazz, schilderkunst, Japan, improvisatie en beweging.
Met zijn praktijk van het moment duikt Mathieu in de materie en probeert hij de
klanken te bewonen, in een zekere zoektocht naar sereniteit en paradoxaal
genoeg... stilte.

Il nous livre ses trouvailles au travers de vignettes sonores tantôt composées,

l'auditeur dans des microcosmes particuliers, façonnés par ses inspirations
allant de la céramique au jazz en passant par la peinture, le Japon,
l'improvisation et le mouvement. Avec sa pratique de l'instant, Mathieu plonge
dans la matière et cherche à habiter les sons, dans une certaine recherche de
sérénité et paradoxalement...de silence.
