Zó belangrijk voor de Europese kunstwereld en toch relatief onbekend in België:
de Vlaamse kunstenaar Jef Verheyen (1932-1984) keert terug naar Antwerpen.
Veertig jaar na zijn overlijden presenteert het KMSKA de eerste
solotentoonstelling van deze illustere moderne meester in zijn thuisstad. Een
primeur.
In de expo ontdekt de bezoeker een boeiend spel van licht en donker, van vorm en
kleur. Dankzij baanbrekend onderzoek van het M HKA krijgt Verheyens
experimentele zoektocht naar leegte vorm. Een zoektocht die ook vandaag nog
relevant is. Daarom worden de werken van Verheyen niet enkel in dialoog of
confrontatie geplaatst met zijn voorgangers en tijdgenoten, maar ook met
hedendaagse kunstenaars. Prestigieuze bruiklenen van onder andere de Yves Klein
Foundation, het Uecker Archiv en de Fondazione Lucio Fontana verrijken de expo
en plaatsen Verheyen in een internationaal kader.

Raul Kohli
Raul Kohli (star of hit BBC podcast - Comic Sanskrit) has fast become one of the
most captivating acts on the circuit. As one of the few Asians to have grown up
in the far north of England (Newcastle Upon Tyne, he’s been blessed with a
Worldview that upends ethnicity, culture and class. Combining ‘superb political
comedy’ (The Scotsman) with surreal storytelling, Raul Kohli is a recognized
name in Comedy. His Edinburgh Fringe debut show Newcastle Brown Male was one of
BBC Radio 4, The Huffington Post & the Skinny’s Top Picks of the Fringe 2016,

Belgian artist Jean-Michel Folon (1934-2005) worked for several years with the
Italian design company Olivetti. This collaboration is emblematic of the
long-standing relationship between Olivetti and the art world.
As early as 1912, Camillo Olivetti commissioned the painter Teodoro Wolf Ferrari
to create the emblematic poster for the first Olivetti typewriter, the M1. But
it was not until the leadership of his son Adriano (1938 - 1960) that Olivetti
was transformed into a modern company. Olivetti's Ivrea headquarters became a
laboratory for innovative interaction between business and society. This model
is still considered a model today for its ability to integrate culture,
technological research, design, architecture, beauty and sustainability. Adriano
Olivetti opened up the company to intellectuals, artists, sociologists and
philosophers.
Thanks to this vision, Giorgio Soavi, Adriano's close cultural collaborator,
invited Folon to become part of the Olivetti world in the 1960s. Thirty years of
collaboration between the Belgian artist, Jean-Michel Folon, who drew the
destiny of the human being, and the company, Olivetti, for which he was
responsible, for a time, for the visual identity and graphic design.
Their long friendship and Olivetti's artistic legacy will be presented to the
public in this talk, which takes a fresh look at the Italian company, a pioneer
in the creation of typewriters and calculators, and Jean-Michel Folon, a
singular Belgian artist of many talents.

L'artiste belge Jean-Michel Folon (1934-2005) a travaillé plusieurs années au
sein de l'entreprise de design italienne Olivetti. Cette collaboration est un
cas emblématique de la relation de longue date entre la société Olivetti et le
monde de l’art.
Dès 1912, Camillo Olivetti charge le peintre Teodoro Wolf Ferrari de créer
l'affiche emblématique de la première machine à écrire Olivetti, la M1. Mais ce
n'est que sous la présidence de son fils Adriano (1938 - 1960) qu'Olivetti se
transforme en une entreprise moderne. Le siège d'Olivetti à Ivrea est devenu un
laboratoire d'interaction innovante entre l'entreprise et la société. Ce modèle
est encore aujourd’hui considéré comme exemplaire pour sa capacité à intégrer la
culture, la recherche technologique, le design, l’architecture, la beauté et la
durabilité. Adriano Olivetti a ouvert l'entreprise aux intellectuel·le·s, aux
artistes, aux sociologues et aux philosophes.
Grâce à cette approche, Giorgio Soavi, proche collaborateur culturel d'Adriano,
a invité Folon à faire partie de l'univers Olivetti dans les années soixante.
Trente ans de collaboration entre l’artiste belge, Jean-Michel Folon, qui a
dessiné le destin de l’être humain, et l’entreprise, Olivetti, dont il s’est
chargé pour un temps de l’identité visuelle et du graphisme.
Leur longue amitié et l'héritage artistique d'Olivetti seront présentés au
public avec cette conférence qui offre un nouveau regard sur l’entreprise
italienne, pionnière dans la création de machine à écrire et à calculer, et
Jean-Michel Folon, artiste belge singulier aux multiples talents.

than 170 leading galleries present their artists and more than 26.000 visitors
gather at the iconic Brussels Expo.

révolution numérique du point de vue de l’action culturelle. À l’image de la «
transformation digitale », nous vivons une époque de « transformation culturelle
» et d’accélération dans un contexte d’horizontalisation des pratiques
culturelles et de divertissement.
Comment le numérique a-t-il transformé nos pratiques culturelles, qu’il s’agisse
de création ou de consommation ?
Dans quelle mesure les cultures numériques ont-elles transformé les manières de
« faire culture », de faire médiation et par ce biais, l’action des institutions
et les politiques culturelles ?
Quelles tensions sont à l’œuvre ?
Quelles sont les parties prenantes, comment lire ces nouveaux écosystèmes pour
pouvoir développer une action cohérente ?
Quel impact sur les métiers de la culture ?
Quels enjeux pour les projets de territoire, et pour la démocratie culturelle ?
Ce module se construit sur une base d’exploration de cas de terrain et de
rencontres avec des professionnels de la médiation à l’épreuve des mutations
numériques de la culture.

Phase quantitative :
À l’issue du module, les participant·e·s auront :
✓ Approché l’impact du numérique sur les métiers de la culture pour en
développer des clés de compréhension ;
✓ Rencontré et échangé avec des acteurs de terrain de la problématique, des
secteurs traditionnels aux acteurs de l’innovation numérique dans le domaine
culturel, dans la perspective de développer leur compréhension mais aussi
d’enrichir leur réseau.
Phase qualitative :
À l’issue du module, les participant·e·s auront :
✓ Mesuré l’amplitude du changement à l’oeuvre qui n’est pas seulement
technologique mais culturel, impactant les usages et pratiques culturelles ;
✓ Développé une capacité de recul pour replacer l’action culturelle dans un
contexte de digitalisation ;
✓ Exercé leur curiosité en se mettant en veille sur l’innovation dans le domaine
de la médiation culturelle.
– Méthodologie et référentiels –
La formation se donnera en format séminaire comprenant des sessions ex-cathedra
et des sessions interactives entre la formatrice, les invités au module et les
participant.e.s, qui seront invités à préparer les séances et à y venir dans une
dynamique de co-apprentissage.

La formation se déroulera sur 2 jours :
Jour 1
✓ Prise de contact et installation du carnet commun de ressources et de veille
sur la médiation culturelle numérique.
✓ Introduction à la numérisation de l’espace culturel :
- retour aux prémices de notre société digitale ;
- bref panorama de l’action culturelle en Belgique francophone.
✓ La médiation culturelle à l’épreuve du numérique : cas d’usage inspirants en
présence de porteurs de projets invités (témoignages).
✓ Travaux pratiques : veille sur l’impact du numérique dans la culture et
partage de (res)sources avec le groupe.
Jour 2
✓ Focus sur la révolution de l’immersif pour le patrimoine, le tourisme et la
culture : de l’innovation aux nouveaux usages.
✓ Do’s and don’ts de la médiation culturelle numérique : implémentation de
projets sur le terrain et partage d’expériences.
✓ Les politiques de soutien au développement numérique de la culture : regards
croisés.
✓ Travaux pratiques : veille sur l’impact du numérique dans la culture et
partage de (res)sources avec le groupe.

intervient en tant que responsable stratégie et développement au KIKK (festival
international des cultures numériques à Namur), mais également auprès
d'entreprises et d'organisations culturelles en tant que conseillère en
communication stratégique et ingénierie culturelle/RP. Elle est conférencière
invitée à l'UCLouvain (Mons), à l'Ihecs (Bruxelles) et à la Haute Ecole Albert
Jacquard (Namur), et formatrice chez Arts&Publics.

"Accordez-moi la parole" est le théâtre d’une rencontre entre une écrivaine,
Salomé, et une mère infanticide, Raphaëlle Lombardo. Toutes deux font
l’expérience de la maternité, l’une dans les affres des criminelles tragiques,
l’autre dans une naïveté toute nouvelle.
L’une demandera que son acte puisse trouver une trace dans l’écriture, l’autre
découvrira en l’écrivant toutes les difficultés à oser raconter un histoire
pareille. La prison, l’accompagnement, les jugements, les silences, les actes,
les regards, le mépris, la réinsertion autant de défis qu’elles deux doivent
gravir. Mais cela ne va pas sans le pouvoir des mots, la nécessité de l’écriture
pour aborder au plus près et avec finesse les béances de la maternité.
