Venez découvrir la technique du sgraffite à la Maison Autrique, en théorie et EN PRATIQUE !

Dans le cadre de l’exposition Privat Livemont, artiste Art nouveau qui a réalisé des affiches et également de nombreux sgraffites à Schaerbeek, l’artisan Marc Frognet vous accompagnera pour réaliser votre propre sgraffite le temps d’un weekend.

Après une présentation historique et technique du sgraffite et une découverte dans les rues schaerbeekoises de quelques œuvres de Privat Livemont, vous travaillerez individuellement sur un panneau de 40x30cm et vous apprendrez la technique des enduits, la préparation du poncif, la gravure et la mise en couleurs… Et ce petit bijou de votre composition trônera bientôt au milieu de votre salon !

Kom de sgraffitotechniek ontdekken in het Autrique-huis, in theorie en in praktijk!

In het kader van de tentoonstelling Privat Livemont, een Art Nouveau kunstenaar die in Schaarbeek affiches en een aantal sgraffiti maakte, zal de ambachtsman Marc Frognet u tijdens het weekend helpen bij het maken van uw eigen sgraffito.

Na een inleiding over de geschiedenis en de techniek van sgraffito en een rondleiding door de straten van Schaarbeek om enkele werken van Privat Livemont te bekijken, werkt u individueel aan een paneel van 40x30 cm en leert u gips aanbrengen, het poncif voorbereiden, graveren en kleuren... En dit juweeltje van uw compositie zal binnenkort een ereplaats innemen in het midden van uw woonkamer!

INTRODUCTION COURSE ON THE SGRAFFITO TECHNIQUE (FR)

Come and discover the sgraffito technique at the Maison Autrique, in theory and IN PRACTICE!

As part of the exhibition Privat Livemont, Art Nouveau artist who produced posters and numerous sgraffiti in Schaerbeek, the craftsman Marc Frognet will accompany you for a weekend to create your own sgraffito.

After an introduction to the history and technique of sgraffito and a guided tour of the streets of Schaerbeek to see some of Privat Livemont's work, you'll work individually on a 40x30cm panel and learn how to apply the plaster, prepare the poncif, engrave and apply the colours... And this little jewel of your composition will soon be taking pride of place in the middle of your living room!

Op deze zondagmiddag duiken we in de archieven. Het Kadoc KULeuven heeft een unieke documentaire in zijn bezit ‘Berberi’. De Witte Paters maakten deze tijdens hun missie in Noord-Afrika in de jaren ’50 van vorige eeuw. Karim van Kadoc geeft de nodige context bij deze beelden. Wie informatie zoekt over izran, komt vroeg of laat zeker bij izranvantoen.nl terecht. Deze website bundelt een schat aan informatie over izran. Achter de site zit Gerard, een geboren Tilburger die Linguïstiek studeerde en tot zijn pensioen les gaf aan de school voor journalistiek in Utrecht. Hij kwam in contact met Marokkaanse muziek dankzij Nass el Ghiwane die hem getipt werd door zijn Riffijnse leerlingen. Zijn ambitie is om izran toegankelijk te maken en kennis over izran zoveel mogelijk te delen en te verspreiden. Gerard dook vooral in alle geschreven bronnen over izran en analyseerde bijvoorbeeld ‘Dhar Ubaran’, een lange izri die verslag doet van de eerste Rijffijnse overwinning op de Spanjaarden… De populairste pagina op izranvantoen.nl zijn de hennaliederen. Au cours de la semaine, ils auront l'opportunité de fabriquer leurs propres solutions teintées à partir de végétaux, puis d'explorer différents motifs à appliquer sur du tissu et du papier. Michael David has been a professional origamist for 8 years, the only one in Belgium and one of the few European specialists in traditional Japanese folding. Trained in Japan, he obtained his instructor's certificate from the NOA, Nippon Origami Association (from 2015 to 2020). Alongside origami, he works as a lecturer and trainer on traditional folding and popular Japanese media. He is also the author of the first French-language origami book to pay tribute to the famous Studio Ghibli, and continues to provide technical coordination for the Origanime collection at Paris-based publisher Ynnis. Le Lotus Rouge, Atelier d'Art, which he manages, is a space for experimentation and reflection on paper arts. In recent years, this dynamic has tended to highlight the benefits and potential of traditional folding, mainly Japanese origami, and more sporadically Chinese Zhezhi, in a variety of settings including schools, academies, museums and associations, as well as federal institutions (David is currently the only federal trainer on the didactic uses of folding, as well as the approach to Japanese literature for professionals). Traditional origami is one of the oldest popular arts in human history still practiced in its original form and gestures. This discipline, with over 1500 years of history, offers a comprehensive look at its Japanese cultural roots, but beyond that, it's a fantastic, playful and rewarding approach to the creative possibilities of paper. During Lotus Rouge sessions, participants create models emblematic of the discipline, its gestures and vocabulary. Traditional folding from the Buddhist tradition or from the Japanese Edo period, the Golden Age of the discipline, techniques of folded binding or the possibilities of reinforcing reading by narration in folds: all these discoveries are accompanied and detailed, in a spirit of kindness... All materials are supplied, including a range of papers imported from Japan. No prerequisites required.
