This evening event is the beginning of a series of interventions ending with an assembly on Friday 5 April 2024 that will take place as part of the contextual programme of the Rewire festival.

Invited guests are Ash Kilmartin, Brandon LaBelle, Corecore (Tjobo Kho, Jan-Pieter 't Hart, Callum Dean), Golnoosh Heshmati (Khamoosh). Moderated by Federica Notari and Katía Truijen.

Rewire

Rewire is the annual international festival of adventurous music. From 4 to 7 April 2024, Rewire returns to The Hague for its 13th edition. The festival brings together a wide range of musical and interdisciplinary performances, commissioned works, club nights, installations, talks, screenings and more.

Through Sounds

Research project Through Sounds seeks to make and expand connections between practitioners active in sound, nightlife, the dancefloor, radio, dance and DJing. The focus is on listening as practice and method, looking at visuals and audio not as ends in themselves, but as mediums and portals.

Research Nights

Research Nights are recurring events informed by emerging interests, ongoing investigations and lines of inquiry currently being explored within the Research team of Nieuwe Instituut. In an intimate and collaborative setting, the audience gains an insight into the various stages of projects and shares ideas through dialogues, workshops, screenings or other experimental activities. Join us and contribute to collective forms of doing research.
