"Unconditional" is acceptance and submission with no strings attached, but also commitment without reserve, what is taken, suffered, but also what is given, absolutely...Inconditionnelles (Hopelessly Devoted) celebrates love. Love that blinds, degrades and locks you up. The love of two women, Chess and Serena, that is so powerful it creates that perfect space where "nothing is missing". In this play by Kae Tempest, there is what is outside and what is inside, the prison world and the other side, with its promises, its dangers and its possible failures. And then a third space, the inner life. And it is from the porosity of these spaces that beauty and the poetic act emerge. Finally, Dan Carey's music fills the prison universe. It is music that forms the basis of friendship, the secret language between two women that ultimately seals the community. • Choreographer, artistic director, author and musician Dorothée Munyaneza (°Kigali, 1982) is developing a fiery body of work. By taking hold of memory and the body, she starts from reality and carries the voices of those who are silenced, to make the silences heard and to see the scars of History. Munyaneza recently performed at the Kaaitheater with Mailles, and Toi, Moi, Tituba.

L’amour qui aveugle et avilit et met sous les verrous. L’ amour de deux femmes, Chess et Serena, qui si puissant qu’il crée cet espace parfait où « rien ne manque ». Dans ce texte de Kae Tempest, il y a ce qui est dehors et ce qui est dedans, le monde carcéral et l’autre côté, avec ses promesses, ses dangers, ses possibles échecs. Et puis un troisième espace, la vie intérieure. Et c’est de la porosité de ces espaces que surgit la beauté et l’acte poétique. Enfin, venue des mondes intérieurs, la musique de Dan Carey emplit l’univers carcéral. C’est la musique qui fonde l’amitié, qui est ce langage secret entre deux femmes et qui, finalement, scellera la communauté. • Chorégraphe, directrice artistique, auteure, musicienne, Dorothée Munyaneza (Kigali, 1982) développe une oeuvre ardente. Elle part du réel pour saisir la mémoire et le corps, porter les voix de celles et ceux qu’on tait, pour faire entendre les silences et voir les cicatrices de l’Histoire. Liefde die verblindt, vernedert en op slot zit. De liefde van twee vrouwen, Chess en Serena, is zo krachtig dat ze een perfecte ruimte creëert waarin ‘niets ontbreekt’. Deze tekst van Kae Tempest zoekt een positie tussen wat buiten is en wat binnen, tussen de gevangeniswereld en de ‘andere’ kant met al zijn beloften, gevaren en mogelijke mislukkingen. En dan bestaat er nog een derde ruimte: het innerlijke leven. Vanuit de poreusheid van deze ruimtes ontstaan precies schoonheid en poëzie. Ondertussen vult de muziek van Dan Carey het universum van de gevangenis.
