In CINDY, movement, sound, and imagery are dissected into isolated scores.
Through a game-theoretical algorithm with live coding, a sensitive interaction
between all elements emerges, resulting in a new choreography each time.
Inspired by the looping movements of Hurricane Cindy, Flóra Boros creates a
game-theoretical pattern that propels her body through space. Flóra Boros is a
Hungarian performer and choreographer who earned a degree in contemporary dance
from the University of Vienna in 2021. Her work has been presented at venues
such as WUK, Muffathalle, Theater Akzent, and Schwere Reiter. In 2023, she was
in residency for the first time at workspacebrussels.

Description

Three freelance dancers are invited to give the best of themselves, here and
now, without preparation, through dance instructions that they receive live
through their headphones. Fully Automated Luxury Dancing meticulously analyses
the control systems that keep dancers' bodies in their grip, both on and off
stage. What does it mean to be a freelancer in the art world today? How far do
you have to go as a dancer to survive? And might dance one day be replaced by
AI? • Dan Mussett is a dancer and choreographer. He graduated from the Antwerp
Conservatory in 2017 and subsequently created dddddddddduettttttttttttttt (2019)

body and mind is a source of inspiration in his work. He worked as a dancer with
Jan Martens and Ayelen Parolin, and initiated Murmur, a reading and discussion
group for dancers and dance workers in Antwerp.

Alice Giuliani and Camilla Strandhagen travel through intimate, futuristic
galaxies to create a utopian dimension where chronic illness is no longer an
invisible shadow, but a tangible entity. In Spoonieland, their bodies can
finally transform into hidden ailments, fatigue, chronic pain and panic attacks.
On the border between fiction and reality, between the personal and the
collective, space is made for the unravelling of secrets, the recognition of
pain and the discovery of pleasure and love. Alice Giuliani and Camilla

With Cleaning Oracles, Mary Szydłowska, Federico Protto, Eimi Leggett and
Aleksandra Borys create a research space in which slowness, attention and
zoning-out are central. As a spectator you are invited to settle down and share
the space with five performers and a musician. Expect a performative experience
that evokes reflections on work, fatigue, relaxation, leisure and speculation
about the future. A hypnotic state in which deep tranquillity encounters
urgency. Mary Szydłowska is an artist and choreographer whose work focuses on
peripheral phenomena and ecologies of attention in the context of architectural
spaces and institutional environments. In recent years, Mary has developed a
diptych of solo works about the gestures of cleaning, in which reflection on the
politics of labour is combined with an embodied investigation of cleanliness and
dirt. Mary received a master's degree in dance from P.A.R.T.S. and a master's

With a choreographic, musical and narrative style all their own, Nono Battesti
and his team create a series of tableaux in which we are all the characters.
Powerful, poetic and disturbingly sincere, Coquelicot raises the question of the
moral inheritance from which our decisions, actions and courage derive.in this
choreographic fable, we lose ourselves in an accelerated, urban world from which
there seems to be no escape.
In search of a new lease of life, four protagonists in "societal burn-out" meet
and reinvent themselves in the discovery of others, and together they build a
more serene world. But the past resurfaces to put them to the test once again.
A script that draws on the codes of storytelling and cinema to create a unique
stage work. It's hard to say which of dance or music has led the other to tell
us the story of this poppy seed, this internal revolt, of Coquelicot.
