“Forest3io ” is the result of the meeting of three extremely active musicians on the European jazz scene. Lieven Venken, an inspired drummer of great musicality, perfected his art in the United States for nearly 20 years, notably alongside the master Billy Hart. Jeroen Van Herzeele, a saxophonist with a powerful and lyrical sound, masters his instrument perfectly, moving the listener to the depths of his soul.
Géraud Portal, a double bassist who built his reputation alongside Jacky Terrasson's trio, and more recently alongside the American saxophone legend Gary Bartz.
Forest3io creates unique music, composed of original pieces and rearrangements of standards, with each performance."
