Camilo Mejía, a multidisciplinary artist from Cali, Colombia, grew up surrounded by music and dance but only began formal dance training at the age of 21 in Barcelona. His passion for improvisation and performance led him to Salzburg SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance). In his final year, he performed as a guest artist with the Bodhi Project Company in Cecilia Bengolea’s production "Sounds of Trap". He took part in the Salzburg Opera Festival’s "L'incoronazione di Poppea," directed by Jan Lauwers, and later joined Needcompany, where he performed in works such as “War and Turpentine," “Isabella’s Room,” and “PIE.” Camilo was previously featured at Beursschouwburg in The Sadness by Ula Sickle in 2020 and in DARKMATTER by Cherish Menzo in 2022.

Camilo Mejía, artiste pluridisciplinaire originaire de Cali, en Colombie, a grandi entouré de musique et de danse, mais n'a commencé une formation formelle en danse qu'à l'âge de 21 ans, à Barcelone. Sa passion pour l'improvisation et la performance l'a conduit à intégrer la SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance). Lors de sa dernière année, il a été invité à se produire avec la compagnie Bodhi Project dans la production Sounds of Trap de Cecilia Bengolea. Il a également participé au Festival d'Opéra de Salzbourg dans L'incoronazione di Poppea, mis en scène par Jan Lauwers, avant de rejoindre Needcompany, où il a joué dans des œuvres telles que War and Turpentine, Isabella’s Room et PIE.
Camilo a déjà été présenté à Beursschouwburg dans The Sadness d’Ula Sickle en 2020 et dans DARKMATTER de Cherish Menzo en 2022.
