Primarily inspired by Le Carnaval des animaux (1886), musician Marc Melià and choreographer and dancer Louise Baduel reinterpret Camille Saint-Saëns’ oeuvre with a colourful and intriguing “indie-electro” twist.

Away from the expected figurative choreographic representations, this version pays tribute to the humour and poetry of the composer. Moreover, it plunges the young audience into a comprehensive auditory, chromatic, and sensory experience. The result is an opportunity to give free rein to the imagination and feelings of everyone involved.

Principalement inspirés par Le Carnaval des animaux (1886), le musicien Marc Melià et la chorégraphe et danseuse Louise Baduel revisitent l’œuvre de Camille Saint-Saëns dans une version « indé-électro » plutôt surprenante et colorée.

Loin des représentations chorégraphiques figuratives auxquelles on pourrait s’attendre, le spectacle célèbre autant l’humour que la poésie du compositeur tout en immergeant le jeune public dans une expérience auditive, chromatique et sensorielle totale. In eerste instantie geïnspireerd door Le Carnaval des animaux (1886), herontdekken muzikant Marc Melià en choreografe en danseres Louise Baduel het werk van Camille Saint-Saëns in deze nogal verrassende en kleurrijke "indie-electro" versie.

Allesbehalve de figuratieve choreografische voorstelling die we zouden verwachten, maar daarentegen een versie waarin zowel de humor als de poëzie van de componist worden gevierd en die het jonge publiek onderdompelt in een auditieve, chromatische en zintuiglijke totaalervaring.
