Darwin 15 presents Reflexions

This exhibition reflects a series of encounters “ REFLEXIONS ”. A ceramicist and a photographer come together, both visited by water, the first artist. Reflections (a feminine word) in the sense of the different looks that emerge and bring forms and images into the world. The look of the wave, the reflection of the sky in the water, the look we give it and, above all, the action of the mind that concentrates on the object and stops its thoughts there.

Ingrid captures this moment in a photograph, framing an emotion and making the image abstract. Marine models and manipulates clay to sculpt shapes and colors inspired by the sea. They worked as a duo to create the color schemes for the works in the exhibition and shared space to present their vision in resonance.

Cette exposition est le reflet de plusieurs rencontres " REFLEXIONS ". Une céramiste et une photographe se rejoignent, toutes deux visitées par l'eau, première artiste. Réflexions (mot féminin) au sens des différents regards qui jaillissent mettant au monde des formes et des images. Regard de l'onde, réflexion du ciel dans l'eau, regards que nous lui portons, et surtout l'action de l'esprit qui se concentre sur l'objet et y arrête sa pensée.


Ingrid saisit cet instant en photo, cadrant une émotion, rendant l'image abstraite. Marine façonne et manipule la terre pour sculpter des formes ou des couleurs qui sont inspirées par la mer. Elles ont travaillé en duo sur les accords de couleurs des pièces de l'exposition, se partageant l'espace pour y présenter leur vision en résonance.

Deze tentoonstelling weerspiegelt een aantal ontmoetingen " REFLEXIONS ". Een keramist en een fotograaf komen samen, beiden bezocht door water, de eerste kunstenaar. Reflecties (een vrouwelijk woord) in de zin van de verschillende blikken die tevoorschijn komen en vormen en beelden in de wereld brengen. De blik van de golf, de weerspiegeling van de lucht in het water, de blik die we eraan geven en vooral de actie van de geest die zich concentreert op het object en daar zijn gedachten stopt.

Ingrid legt dit moment vast in een foto, waarbij ze een emotie omlijst en het beeld abstract maakt. Marine boetseert en manipuleert klei om vormen en kleuren te boetseren die geïnspireerd zijn door de zee. Ze werkten als duo aan de kleurenschema's voor de werken in de tentoonstelling en deelden de ruimte om hun visie in resonantie te presenteren.
