Onze speelse lessen zijn niet alleen een feest voor jullie beiden, maar ze stimuleren ook de vroege ontwikkeling van je kleintje. 

Met de kracht van muziek, beweging en het verkennen van instrumenten, leggen we het fundament voor taal, geheugen en leesvaardigheid.

********** English ********** In CINDY, movement, sound, and imagery are dissected into isolated scores. Through a game-theoretical algorithm with live coding, a sensitive interaction between all elements emerges, resulting in a new choreography each time. Inspired by the looping movements of Hurricane Cindy, Flóra Boros creates a game-theoretical pattern that propels her body through space. Flóra Boros is a Hungarian performer and choreographer who earned a degree in contemporary dance from the University of Vienna in 2021. Her work has been presented at venues such as WUK, Muffathalle, Theater Akzent, and Schwere Reiter. In 2023, she was in residency for the first time at workspacebrussels. ********** Français ********** Ce solo énergique dissèque le mouvement, le son et l’image en partitions isolées. En suivant un algorithme théorique de jeux et un codage en direct, une interaction sensible entre tous les éléments émerge et donne chaque fois lieu à une nouvelle chorégraphie. Geïnspireerd door de lusvormige bewegingen van orkaan Cindy creëert Flóra Boros zo een speltheoretisch patroon dat haar lichaam door de ruimte laat cirkelen. Flóra Boros is een Hongaarse performer en choreografe die in 2021 een diploma hedendaagse dans behaalde aan de Universiteit van Wenen. As a spectator you are invited to settle down and share the space with five performers and a musician. Expect a performative experience that evokes reflections on work, fatigue, relaxation, leisure and speculation about the future. A hypnotic state in which deep tranquillity encounters urgency. Mary Szydłowska is an artist and choreographer whose work focuses on peripheral phenomena and ecologies of attention in the context of architectural spaces and institutional environments. In recent years, Mary has developed a diptych of solo works about the gestures of cleaning, in which reflection on the politics of labour is combined with an embodied investigation of cleanliness and dirt. Powerful, poetic and disturbingly sincere, Coquelicot raises the question of the moral inheritance from which our decisions, actions and courage derive.in this choreographic fable, we lose ourselves in an accelerated, urban world from which there seems to be no escape. In search of a new lease of life, four protagonists in "societal burn-out" meet and reinvent themselves in the discovery of others, and together they build a more serene world. But the past resurfaces to put them to the test once again. A script that draws on the codes of storytelling and cinema to create a unique stage work. In deze choreografische fabel verliezen we onszelf in een versnelde, stedelijke wereld waaruit geen ontsnappen mogelijk lijkt. Op zoek naar een nieuw leven, ontmoeten vier hoofdpersonen met een maatschappelijke burn-out elkaar, vinden zichzelf opnieuw uit door anderen te ontdekken en werken samen aan een vreedzamere wereld. Maar het verleden duikt weer op om hen opnieuw op de proef te stellen. Een toneelstuk dat gebruik maakt van de codes van storytelling en cinema om een uniek toneelstuk te creëren. Het is moeilijk te zeggen wie van de dans of de muziek de ander heeft geleid om ons het verhaal te vertellen van dit papaverzaad, deze interne opstand, van Coquelicot.

********** English ********** With a career spanning forty years, Michèle Noiret returns to the stage with a new solo and a major challenge: questioning her own style of "dance-cinema", without cinema! On an empty stage with no screens or projected images, and with the help of playwright Thierry Thieû Niang, she offers us a change of register to surprise herself and us. A dance that is part of the evolution of a choreographic language carried by a body that has been around for an entire oeuvre. While playing with her own image, the dancer/choreographer summons other characters who bring a solo to the group. Past and present enter into dialogue, interact and remind us of the fragility, the beauty, but also the strength of maturity when it never stops exploring new territories. After Loop Affect, she is back with Soleil Constant, with the same performers and the same mixed genres, that shines the spotlight on our inconsistencies and our contradictions when it comes to ecology. Using movement, text and textiles, she creates a colourful, visual world that simultaneously evokes the power of nature and the artificiality of our lifestyles. Can we transcend fatalism and its logical consequence in the form of ecological laxity and replace it with optimism and collective initiative? Straddling fiction and reality, Louise Baduel and Pascale Gigon mockingly turn our habits upside, rightly so. At 20.45, in the Chapelle, the show Up Close! by the Cie Michèle Noiret will be presented. This is a dance and object theater show. Two people go to a beach where they find a large transparent plastic sheet. Attracted by the material, they begin to explore it. This invites them to embark on a journey in which the plastic sometimes becomes an ally, sometimes an enemy. This experience will transform them, their vision and their use of this element. In a poetic and visual way, this piece evokes our relationship with plastic and the problem of pollution in our oceans. ********** Français ********** Dans le cadre du Marché au Fleurs de Forest, à l'occasion de Danse en Fête, La Compagnie Jordi L. Vidal fera deux représentations de "La traversée" à 13h30 et 15h30. Il s'agit d'un spectacle en danse, théâtre d'objets Deux personnes se rendent sur une plage où iels trouvent une grande bâche de plastique transparente. Attirés.es par cette matière, iels commencent à l’explorer. Cela les invite à un voyage dans lequel, ce plastique devient parfois un allié, parfois un ennemi. Aangetrokken door het materiaal beginnen ze het te onderzoeken. Dit nodigt hen uit voor een reis waarin het plastic soms een bondgenoot, soms een vijand wordt. Deze ervaring zal hen, hun visie en hun gebruik van dit element veranderen. Op een poëtische en visuele manier roept dit werk onze relatie met plastic en het probleem van de vervuiling van onze oceanen op.

Ahmed Ayed, accompagné du chorégraphe et danseur Hamza Damra et du batteur et chanteur Timothée Philippe, explore ses questionnements identitaires, questionne la liberté d’être soi au- delà des masques qu’on s’impose. Est-ce que nous arrivons à atteindre pleinement notre identité profonde ou vivons-nous d’une série de compromis qui nous façonnent malgré nous ? Comment être nous-mêmes quand nous ne faisons que jouer des rôles que nous ne choisissons pas ? A travers le mouvement, la métamorphose constante du corps et de l’espace et la pulsation brute d’une batterie, …And Nobody Else nous emmène dans un voyage initiatique à la rencontre de différentes versions de soi-même. ********** English ********** Guided by Bruce Lee’s allusion to an old Zen Buddhist wisdom in his seminal film Enter the Dragon, “Don’t concentrate on the finger or you will miss all that heavenly glory!”, she proposes to move with what we cannot fathom. To disappear in order to preserve the words that precede us, that never left us. To transform in order to keep what came before us. In close collaboration with an invited group af artists, they dance nearby the guardians of words and rhythms of persisting, still vibrant but disregarded worlds and invites us to listen to images of encounters in the moment of their sounding. In close relation with the elliptical drive of the moon, they challenge the possibility to sense the remnants of a language inwardly, so that the deeper they go into their bodies, the wider they go into its dismembered but enduring vocabularies and grammars, without ever seizing or claiming them. ********** Français ********** Dans le sillage d’une ancienne sagesse du bouddhisme zen à laquelle Bruce Lee fait allusion dans son film innovateur Enter the Dragon, « Quand le sage désigne la lune, l’idiot regarde le doigt », Moya Michael propose de suivre le mouvement de ce qu’on ne peut pas concevoir, de disparaître pour conserver les mots qui nous précèdent et ne nous ont jamais quittés, de transformer pour sauvegarder ce qui nous a précédés. En étroite collaboration avec un groupe d’artistes invités, elle danse au plus près des gardiens des mots et des rythmes de mondes inflexibles, toujours vivants mais oubliés ou négligés, et nous invite à écouter les images de rencontres au moment où elles résonnent. En relation intime avec l’élan orbital de la lune, iels remettent en question la possibilité de ressentir intérieurement les vestiges d’une langue, de sorte que plus on se meut en profondeur dans notre corps, plus on s’immerge dans ses vocabulaires et sa grammaire, fragmentés mais durables, sans jamais les saisir ou les revendiquer. ********** Nederlands ********** Geleid door Bruce Lee’s toespeling op een oude Zen Boeddhistische wijsheid in zijn baanbrekende film Enter the Dragon, “Focus niet op de vinger of je mist al die hemelse glorie!”, stelt ze voor om mee te bewegen met wat we niet kunnen bevatten. Te verdwijnen om de woorden te behouden die ons voorafgaan, die ons nooit hebben verlaten. Te transformeren om wat ons voorafging te bewaren. In hechte samenwerking met een groep genodigde artiesten, danst ze dichtbij de bewakers van woorden en ritmes van onbuigzame, nog levendige maar in de wind geslagen werelden en nodigt ze ons uit om te luisteren naar beelden van ontmoetingen op het moment dat ze weerklinken. In nauwe relatie met de elliptische impuls van de maan dagen zij de mogelijkheid uit om de overblijfselen van een taal innerlijk aan te voelen, zodat hoe dieper ze zich in hun lichaam bewegen, hoe breder ze zich begeven in haar versnipperde maar duurzame woordenschatten en grammatica, zonder ze ooit vast te grijpen of op te eisen.

Guest artists will present a spontaneous performance on Thursdays at 19:00. Tictac Art Centre holds weekly workshops directed by talented world-renowned dance artists, who have come to Brussels to share their work. On Thursdays these dance artists are invited to share a glimpse of their approach to performing for the workshop participants and general public. Tictac opens this space so the transmission of dance through teaching and performing can go hand in hand. Please, always check our social media in case of a possible Thursday performance cancellation. When there are two workshops happening in the same week, the artists are mostly presented in a shared evening, which also offers the opportunity to do something together or not. Especially in the intensive workshops, participants are also invited to perform and show whatever they’ve been doing during the classes but in a performance setting. Time: Performance starts at 19:00 (be on time!). Tictac doors, cantine, and courtyard are open from 18:00. Duration: 20 to 60 min (approx). The entry fee is on a donation-base (suggestion of minimum 5 €) and free for the participants of the workshops of that week.

********** English ********** Jeanne Colin began in 2017 as a dancer and performer with Ayelen Parolin, Éric Minh Cuong Castaing, Tumbleweed, Louise Vanneste... exploring the relationship between movement and the unconscious, blending disciplines and practices such as dance, hypnosis and drawing. With Abysses, the young choreographer continues this exploration by focusing on dreams and REM sleep, a state of rest in which nightmares and fear prevail. Starting from this dichotomy between reality and fiction, feeling and imagination, her piece begins in the form of a reading after which she allows the body and senses to drift towards a free, liberated dance. Met Abysses zet de jonge choreografe deze verkenning verder door zich te richten op dromen en de REMslaap, een staat van rust waarin nachtmerries en angst zegevieren. Met als uitgangspunt deze tweespalt tussen realiteit en fictie, gevoel en verbeelding vangt haar stuk aan in de vorm van een lezing waarna ze het lichaam en de zintuigen laat drijven in de richting van een vrije, bevrijde dans. Abysses speelt fysiek en metaforisch met touwen, knopen en lianen en verbindt wat verborgen en verdeeld is.
