EN: Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals' show, initially scheduled at neimënster on July 13th 2020 (and then on July 12th 2021), is being postponed to July 11th 2022. All tickets will remain valid for the new date and do not need to be exchanged. Check atelier.lu and the A’s socials for the latest updates.
Tracing their roots back to 1993, the Innocent Criminals (percussionist Leon Mobley, bassist Juan Nelson and drummer Oliver Charles) have been involved in most of Harper’s projects. The band toured the globe nonstop, earning legions of fans thanks to explosive live performances and a succession of acclaimed studio albums including Fight For Your Mind, The Will to Live, Burn to Shine, Diamonds on the Inside, the GRAMMY® nominated Lifeline, and Call It What It Is, their most recent studio album together in 2016. The Innocent Criminals also backed Ben and The Blind Boys of Alabama on the two-time GRAMMY® winning collaborative album There Will Be A Light in 2004. What makes the band so unique is that they come from different places musically and complement each other because of the different styles that they play.

RYVAGE Ryvage (French pronunciation: (/riːˈvɑːʒ) meaning "shore") is an electronic musician from Luxembourg who blends synthwave and ambient techno in a hypnotic, multi-faceted live performance. His latest tracks from the “Les Nuits I” EP, released in July 2023, have been remixed by artists such as Djedjotronic (Italo Moderni, Boysnoize Records), Madben and Etienne Jaumet (Zombie Zombie) and played on European radio stations such as BBC Radio 6 Music and 808 Radio. On the live side, Ryvage has supported artists such as Rone (FR), Arnaud Rebotini (FR), Vitalic (FR), Throwing Snow (UK) and Blanck Mass (UK), and performed at festivals like Les Aralunaires (BE), Murex (FR) and Siren's Call (LU). KVT En collaboration avec SPEKTRUM [https://spektrum.lu/] KvT (Kata Kovács et Tom O’Doherty) est un duo basé à Berlin, qui façonne des paysages sonores éphémères à partir de la superposition d'éléments simples. Les deux artistes superposent la résonance, la répétition, le mouvement et la mémoire en combinant des fragments itérés de voix, de trompette et de basse. Cette palette dépouillée permet de se concentrer sur les mondes sonores qui peuvent être superposés et assemblés à partir de voix, de fragments, de boucles, de résonances et de bourdons émergents – le tout réalisé avec des amplificateurs portés à la main. KASALLA Nicht immer sind die Ideen, die zwei Typen nachts um 2 nach einer langen Party an einem Küchentisch haben, wirklich richtig gut. Aber aus dem, was Ex-„Peilomat“-Gitarrist und Songwriter Flo Peil und Sänger Bastian Campmann da planten, wurde was: Kasalla. Zusammen mit den alten und neuen Weggefährten Ena Schwiers, Sebi Wagner und Nils Plum sprangen sie mit dem Plan, die Musik, die man liebt mit Texten im heimischen Sprech zu kombinieren in den Proberaum. Jetzt, 10 Jahre später, ist die Schnapsidee richtig erwachsen geworden. Nicht zuletzt aufgrund des Charterfolges ihres 2017 erschienenen Albums „Mer sin eins“. Das vierte Studioalbum der Band schaffte es auf Anhieb von 0 auf Platz 5 der deutschen Albumcharts und bescherte der Band somit nicht nur die erste Top Ten – Platzierung ihrer Karriere, sondern auch den aktuell höchsten Chartentry einer kölschen Band seit BAP im Jahr 1981. Die Erfolgsgeschichte der Kölner wurde 2018 durch ein weiteres Megahighlight gekrönt, denn sie wurden für den deutschen Musikpreis ECHO nominiert.

Guided by maverick producer Micha Volders, The Germans meticulously craft a unique sonic landscape through the use of classical guitar, early digital synths, percussion, prepared piano, and the addition of Rozanne Descheemaeker’s beautiful French horn arrangements.  This musical canvas deliberately allows the vocal splendour to shine and convey its message to the adventurous and bold-spirited.  ‘Spirituality’ is set to release on Cortizona in January 2024.

SAMMY VOMÁČKA TRIO Sammy Vomáčka s'est fait un nom bien au-delà des frontières allemandes en tant que spécialiste du fingerpicking dans le ragtime, le folk et le blues. Né en République tchèque, il effectue des tournées en tant que guitariste soliste depuis de nombreuses années. Par la suite il se tourne vers le jazz. L'ancien picker folk joue aujourd'hui du jazz pur et de haut vol au sein d'un trio classique, ce qui constitue le défi ultime pour un guitariste. Vomáčka enchaîne un standard de jazz après l'autre avec une aisance déconcertante. Il manie les arcs mélodiques et les motifs en toute liberté, dessinant sans cesse de nouvelles variations harmoniques et restant authentique à cent pour cent. La musique est vivante, aérienne, non forcée et libre, mais elle a un swing convaincant ; elle est harmoniquement complexe, mais ne semble pas distante un seul instant.
