Olivier De Spiegeleir est un pianiste qui commente avec plaisir ce qu’il joue
avec talent. Olivier De Spiegeleir, concertiste, ingénieur forestier et
directeur de l’Académie de musique d’Uccle depuis plus de 20 ans, emmène ses
auditeurs dans un hommage à la forêt, à l’arbre et à l’imaginaire que ces
éléments ont suscité chez les musiciens. Il interprète et raconte un choix de
pièces romantiques évoquant les rapports merveilleux qui unissent la musique,
les bois et les instruments. Œuvres de Schumann (Scènes de la Forêt, opus 82),
Grieg (extraits des Pièces Lyriques), Sibelius (Arbres, opus 75) et Liszt. Dans
L’âme de la forêt, une formule originale et vivante, hybride entre le concert et
la conférence, l’artiste allie poésie et profondeur, mais aussi légèreté et
humour.
Join us on a mesmerizing exploration of the profound connection between two
musical titans – Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Delve into the close
relationship that transcended their 18th-century differences. Though the details
of their bond are not extensively documented, the evidence of their mutual
admiration is compelling.

to celebrate the release of her first project entitled "Clé". CLELIA has

At each session, which consists of two parts, four different semi-finalists are
scheduled. The first two play a Mozart concerto, to be chosen from concertos K.
207 (No. 1 in B flat major), K. 211 (No.2 in D major) and K. 218 (No. 4 in D
major), accompanied by the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, conducted by
Vahan Mardirossion.
After the break, the other two perform their recital with piano accompaniment.
The jury will choose one of two recital programmes proposed by the candidate,
each including works of the candidate’s choice and the compulsory unpublished
work written especially for this year’s edition (world première on Monday 13 May
2024).

À chaque séance, qui comprend deux parties, le public entendra quatre
demi-finalistes différents. Les deux premiers interpréteront un concerto de
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, choisi parmi les concerti KV207 (n.1 en si bémol
majeur), KV211 (n. 2 en ré majeur) et KV218 (n. 4 en ré majeur). Ils seront
accompagnés par l’Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, dirigé par Vahan
Mardirossian.
Après la pause, deux autres violonistes présenteront leur récital avec piano.
Les membres du jury feront le choix entre les deux programmes proposés par les
candidats. Les récitals sont composés d'œuvres au choix et d'une œuvre inédite
imposée, écrite spécialement pour cette session (création mondiale le lundi 13
mai 2024).

begeleid door het Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, o.l.v. Vahan
Mardirossian.
Na de pauze vertolken de volgende twee violisten hun recital met
pianobegeleiding. De jury kiest één van twee door de kandidaat voorgestelde
recitalprogramma’s, die werken naar keuze bevatten, alsook een onuitgegeven
verplicht werk, speciaal voor deze editie geschreven (wereldpremière op maandag
13 mei 2024).

Barely 24 years old, Olivia Dean has already worked with Loyle Carner and
Rudimental, been voted breakthrough artist of the year by Amazon Music and was
able to join Jordan Rakei on tour. Basically: things are going well for the
English artist! Earlier this year, she sold out AB Club in record time and in
June her new album Messy was released. She’ll be coming to present it live soon.

The great Jazz eras Jean Van Lint (double bass), René de Smaele (trumpet,
vocals), Paolo Loveri (guitar), Jan De Haas (drums)This four-piece group, formed
on the initiative of the trumpeter, will take you on a journey through the world
of guitarists from the great jazz eras: Wes Montgomery, Kenny Burrell, Jim Hall,
Joe Pass and Django… Not forgetting more contemporary guitarists Pat Metheny and

improvisation and complicity between the musicians. Singing and scatting (vocal
