Victor Pãtrãşcan is a pretentious stand up comedian and outrageous social
commentator who was born in Romania. Since he started performing stand up comedy
in 2012, he has told his jokes in front of a crowd of people in the United
Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Turkey, Sweden, Denmark, France, Serbia,
Switzerland, Finland, Belgium, Iceland, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Portugal, the
Czech Republic, Gibraltar, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Poland, Latvia,
Lithuania, Luxembourg, United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, Hungary, Ukraine and
Romania.
In 2022, he performed in front of over 16.000 people, in 70 cities from 27
countries on 2 continents. Since April 2021 he's been touring with his self
produced stand up comedy shows in English throughout Europe.
In 2019 and 2020, he traveled through Europe with his show called "The Trouble
with Being Born Romanian" in over 30 cities. During the same years, he topped
the charts at No1 in the rankings of ''Roast Battle London''. Victor was also a
special guest on the Romanian TV show iUmor where he provoked with his brash
humour.

Peut-on imaginer un monde sans Jean Valjean, Cosette, Gavroche, Javert ou Fantine, à jamais vivants au Panthéon
de l'esprit humain? En 1862 paraissent Les Misérables, qui désignent toutes les victimes d'un ordre social dont Victor Hugo condamne les injustices.
Immense épopée populaire, ce roman deviendra l'une des oeuvres les plus lues dans le monde. On dit que lorsque les premières épreuves sortaient des presses, les correcteurs et les imprimeurs pleuraient.
Né en 1769 dans une famille pauvre, Jean Valjean perd ses parents lorsqu’il est enfant et est ensuite élevé par sa sœur. Après la mort du mari de celle-ci, il doit subvenir aux besoins de sa sœur et de ses sept enfants, pour qui il se retrouve contraint de voler du pain, ce qui lui vaudra d’être condamné au bagne. Sa peine, prolongée plusieurs fois à cause de tentatives d’évasion, le fait sortir plein de haine contre la société et empli d’un sentiment d’injustice. Or, sa rencontre avec l’évêque Myriel marque un tournant dans sa vie… Après de multiples péripéties dignes d’un film hollywoodien, Jean Valjean devient un modèle de vertu et de courage.
Isabelle Bonillo s’empare du roman de Victor Hugo de manière iconoclaste, avec une énergie à foison et un brin d’humour. Elle adapte la somme hugolienne et l’interprète, seule en scène, avec son accordéon et avec son public. Une traversée de la sublime épopée des sans dents pitoyables et de la bonté rédemptrice.
Le chef-d’œuvre de Victor Hugo en une heure chrono? C’est possible au Théâtre National du Luxembourg, où une Isabelle Bonillo en verve fait valser Jean Valjean, Thénardier, Cosette et les autres avec l’aide précieuse du public. WOXX
