Jonas 'Jokke' Van Langendonck is a storyteller pur sang who shares life's wisdom from his young life in a subdued and metaphorical way with anyone who wants to hear it. He is hugely popular with his "friends of the net" on tiktok and travels all over Leuven (and beyond) with his shopping cart full of memories. On 5 April, his debut album "Verzamelwoede" was released and he is coming to present it to us live in AB!

And in the back of our minds, the idea “I wonder what this would sound like if it had been composed in a more modern jazz style” can more than probably take hold. “When jazz and pop collide” was born of this idea, a quartet made up of Bruno De Smet (piano), Julien Derenne (drums), Sal La Rocca (double bass) and Nicolas Dewalque (guitar/arrangement) inspired by sounds such as Gilad Hekselman’s cover of “And I love Her” or Brad Meldhau’s cover of “Paranoid Android”,… Jamiroquai, Radiohead, The Beatles, Michael Jackson,… They’ll all be on hand to help you rediscover your favorite pop standards. Working in the bebopand hard bop idioms early in his career, Coltrane helped pioneer the use of modes and was one of the players at the forefront of free jazz. He led at least fifty recording sessions and appeared on many albums by other musicians, including trumpeter Miles Davis and pianist Thelonious Monk.
