Discover the city of wine... and food

Learn the history of Bordeaux by visiting her wine museums: a free wine tasting is included in the entry tickets of La cité du vin, and Musée du vin et du négoce. Apart from wine, Bordeaux is also famous for its cuisine. Sit outside the beautiful Palais de la Bourse while you enjoy a “Canelé” and other local specialties.

Fall in love with the local arts scene

Across the city, interesting locations have been turned into cultural spaces. Fans of music will love the Iboat, a ferry converted into a concert venue and club space. For art lovers, a visit to Base Sous-Marine is a must. This ancient German submarine bunker has been converted into an exhibition space for contemporary and digital art. Another museum, the CAPC Musée d’art Contemporain de Bordeaux is located in an old warehouse. Fans of local street art will love Darwin. Formerly a military base, this space has been converted into a eco-friendly multipurpose space to eat, work and participate in workshops by local artisans.
