Jérémie Hakeshimana, nommé aux Oscars, et Tina Reynaert, entrelacent leur héritage musical et culturel respectif au cours du processus de création. Ils mettent en musique des textes accrocheurs en fusionnant la musique traditionnelle burundaise, le jazz et la musique classique contemporaine. Décolonisation, racisme et innocence blanche mais aussi amour, amitié et droits de l’homme: ils œuvrent pour une société plus inclusive à travers la musique.

Oscargenomineerde Jérémie Hakeshimana en Tina Reynaert verweven tijdens het creatieproces elkaars muzikale en culturele erfgoed. Ze zetten pakkende teksten op muziek in een fusion van Burundese traditionele muziek, jazz en hedendaagse klassieke muziek. Dekolonisatie, racisme en white innocence maar ook liefde, vriendschap en mensenrechten: ze ijveren met muziek voor een inclusievere samenleving.
