Duo Domo with Tim de Vries

Description

This concert featuring the exceptional DUO DOMO, joined by violinist Tim de Vries. The duo, comprising Domonkos Hartmann (cello) and Domonkos Csabay (piano), has rapidly gained international acclaim. In 2022, they won the 1st Prize and Audience Prize at the Lyon International Chamber Music Competition, followed by another 1st Prize at the Birmingham International Piano Chamber Music Competition.
Formed in 2019, DUO DOMO is celebrated for its unique synergy and a repertoire that spans both classical and contemporary works. With performances across prestigious venues like Wigmore Hall in London, the National State Opera in Lyon, and Palazzetto Bru Zane in Venice, they have established themselves as a dynamic force in the chamber music scene.
On 28 November, they will be joined by violinist Tim de Vries, an accomplished musician who has performed at world-renowned venues such as the Vienna Musikverein and the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. Together, they will present a program that highlights their versatility and deep understanding of the classical music tradition, alongside their dedication to presenting lesser-known masterpieces and contemporary gems.
