Lil Tjay grew up in the Bronx and started writing rap lyrics in juvenile detention, where he was serving a sentence for robbery. Not long after, his life changed forever: he was spotted at a live showcase and signed a record deal with Columbia Records. Since then, things have been going great for the New York rapper, who is still only 23 years old. This year he will be performing for the first time at Forest National.
