CURATED BAZAAR #3 (Christmas Edition)

Rue Watteeu - Watteeustraat 16, 1000 Brussels, Brussels-Capital, Belgium
Description
The Concept:
By blending the worlds of contemporary art and demotic multiples, we’ve curated an eclectic bazaar that’s as organized as it is inspiring.
Special Highlights:
This edition, @colloque.cool showcases two incredible artists whose works you won’t want to miss:
Jim Kylam
Self-taught artist Jim Kylam crafts a rich graphical universe filled with symbols and ideograms that intertwine and interact. Drawing inspiration from mystical and religious iconography, outsider art, and the cinematic visions of Alejandro Jodorowsky and Kenneth Anger, Jim’s work is a contemporary reimagining of ancestral signs. His minimalist, often monochromatic compositions offer profound reflections on ambiguity and duality, inviting viewers to interpret and make them their own.
Perrine Kuhn
"My stoneware pieces have a raw presence but a kind heart, with dark clay that beautifully ages the colors," says Perrine. Her porcelain series leans towards delicacy, with intricate designs inspired by the Japanese Mishima technique. She engraves raw clay, coats it, then carves it back to reveal fine, tattoo-like lines—a process that gives her creations an unmistakable elegance.
From Jonathan F. Kugel’s Selection:
A handpicked mix of contemporary artists who reimagine traditional craft with bold vision. Each piece is unique, showcasing the inherent variations of artisanal craftsmanship—no two items are alike!
Save the Date!
