Patricia Kopatchinskaja & Fazil Say

Anyone who witnessed Patricia Kopatchinskaya and Fazil Say playing together a few years ago, knows that the stage is buzzing with playing pleasure. The duo opens the evening with Szymanowski's Myths, in which the Polish composer brings to life the characters Narcissus, Pan and the nymph Arethesa in three enchanting miniatures. The journey continues with Beethoven's famous Kreutzersonate, a masterpiece for violin and piano. As icing on the cake, the two virtuosos also bring their own compositions to Brussels especially for this evening. 
A talk with Patricia Kopatchinskaja will take place between 8 and 8.30pm in the Henry Le Boeuf Hall. This encounter will be in English and moderated by Katherina Lindekens. Free admission.

Quiconque a vu Patricia Kopatchinskaja et Fazil Say jouer ensemble il y a quelques années sait que la scène bourdonne de plaisir. Le duo ouvre la soirée avec les Mythes de Szymanowski, dans lesquels le compositeur polonais donne vie aux personnages de Narcisse, de Pan et de la nymphe Arethesa dans trois miniatures enchanteresses. Le voyage se poursuit avec la célèbre Kreutzersonate de Beethoven, un chef-d'œuvre pour violon et piano. Cerise sur le gâteau : les deux virtuoses apportent également leurs propres compositions à Bruxelles, spécialement pour cette soirée. 
Une rencontre avec Patricia Kopatchinskaja aura lieu entre 20h et 20h30 dans la salle Henry Le Boeuf. Cette session aura lieu en anglais et sera modérée par Katherina Lindekens. Entrée libre.

Wie enkele jaren geleden getuige was van het samenspel van Patricia Kopatchinskaja en Fazil Say, weet dat het podium bruist van spelplezier. Het duo opent de avond met Mythen van Szymanowski, waarin de Poolse componist in drie betoverende miniaturen de personages Narcissus, Pan en de nimf Arethesa tot leven wekt. De reis gaat verder met Beethovens beroemde Kreutzersonate, een meesterwerk voor viool en piano. Als kers op de taart brengen de twee virtuozen speciaal voor deze avond ook hun eigen composities mee naar Brussel. 
Een gesprek met Patricia Kopatchinskaja zal plaatsvinden tussen 20 en 20.30 uur in de Henry Le Boeufzaal. Deze ontmoeting is in het Engels en wordt gemodereerd door Katherina Lindekens. De toegang is gratis.
