‘The poetic violin’: Beethoven, Ravel & Schumann

Tzvetana Gigova, piano :

Tzvetana Guigova was born in Bulgaria into a family of musicians. She studied piano at the ‘Dobrin Petkov’ National School of Music in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, with Mrs Julia Guirginova. She obtained a higher diploma from the National Conservatory of Sofia (Bulgaria) in the class of Professor Atanas Kourtev. She continued her training in Belgium at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in the class of Professor Boyan Vodenitcharov. In 2002 she obtained the Master Degree and in 2005 the Diplôme de Spécialisation in Chamber Music and Piano.
Since then, Tzvetana has performed as a soloist and in various chamber music ensembles. She also teaches piano at the Ecole Européenne de Woluwe St Lambert.

Since January 2012, she has been working as piano accompanist at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Brussels for the violin, guitar, oboe, horn, trombone and tuba classes.

She was also pianist with the Royal Protestant Choir of Brussels from 2005 to 2017. Since 2017 she has formed a duo with the Belgian soprano Paulien Van Overmeire.



Tzvetana is also the regular accompanist for the ‘Triomphe de l'Art’ vocal competition. She regularly accompanies the masterclasses of Daniel Ottevaere (bass) and Anna Samuil (soprano), and has also taken part in the masterclasses dedicated to Udo Reinemann and organised by Christiane Stotijn (mezzo).



Bence Abraham, violin :



Bence Abraham was born in 1979 in Hungary. He graduated from the University of Szeged as a student of Ferenc Szecsődi, followed by a master's degree at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where he studied with Kati Sebestyen and Marc Kowalski. As a chamber musician, he has given concerts in Hungary, Serbia, Switzerland, Germany, England, the Netherlands, Denmark and Belgium. During the 2005-2006 season, he was a member of the Kryptos Quartet in Brussels. Since 2010, he has been a member of the Frankfurt Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Michael Sanderling. Since October 2006, he has been a regular member of the Flanders Symphony Orchestra.

Tzvetana Guigova est née en Bulgarie dans une famille de musiciens. Elle étudie le piano à l’Ecole Nationale de Musique « Dobrin Petkov » de Plovdiv en Bulgarie auprès de Mme Julia Guirginova. Elle obtient le diplôme supérieur du Conservatoire National de Sofia (Bulgarie) dans la classe du Professeur Atanas Kourtev. Elle poursuit sa formation en Belgique au Koninklijk Conservatorium dans la classe du Professeur Boyan Vodenitcharov. Elle a également été la pianiste de La Chorale Royale Protestante de Bruxelles pour la période 2005 – 2017. Depuis 2017 elle forme un duo avec la soprano belge Paulien Van Overmeire.

Tzvetana est aussi l’accompagnatrice attitrée du concours vocal « Triomphe de l’Art ». Elle accompagne régulièrement les masterclasses de Daniel Ottevaere (basse), Anna Samuil (soprano), et a également participé dans le cadre des masterclasses dédiées à Udo Reinemann et organisées par Christiane Stotijn (mezzo).



Bence Abraham, violon :

Bence Abraham est né en 1979 en Hongrie. Il a obtenu son diplôme à l’Université de Szeged en tant qu’élève de Ferenc Szecsődi, puis un diplôme de maîtrise au Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles où il a étudié avec Kati Sebestyen et Marc Kowalski. En tant que chambriste, il a donné des concerts en Hongrie, en Serbie, en Suisse, en Allemagne, en Angleterre, aux Pays-Bas, au Danemark et en Belgique. Au cours de la saison 2005-2006, il a été membre du Quatuor Kryptos de Bruxelles. Depuis 2010, il joue dans l’Orchestre de Chambre de Francfort dirigé par Michael Sanderling. Depuis octobre 2006, il est membre régulier de l’Orchestre symphonique de Flandre.

Tzvetana Guigova werd geboren in Bulgarije in een familie van muzikanten. Ze studeerde piano aan de “Dobrin Petkov” Nationale Muziekschool in Plovdiv, Bulgarije, bij mevrouw Julia Guirginova. Ze behaalde een hoger diploma aan het Nationaal Conservatorium van Sofia (Bulgarije) in de klas van professor Atanas Kourtev. Ze vervolgde haar opleiding in België aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium in de klas van professor Boyan Vodenitcharov. In 2002 behaalde ze het Masterdiploma en in 2005 het Diplôme de Spécialisation in Kamermuziek en Piano.
Sindsdien heeft Tzvetana opgetreden als solist en in verschillende kamermuziekensembles. Ze doceert ook piano aan de Ecole Européenne de Woluwe St Lambert.

Sinds januari 2012 werkt ze als pianobegeleider aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium in Brussel voor de klassen viool, gitaar, hobo, hoorn, trombone en tuba.

Ze was ook pianiste bij het Koninklijk Protestants Koor van Brussel van 2005 tot 2017. Sinds 2017 vormt ze een duo met de Belgische sopraan Paulien Van Overmeire.
