ANDREW STEINER AND FRIENDS Andrew Steiner has performed all over the world, including Glasgow Comedy Festival, Iceland, Tokyo Comedy Bar, and sold-out shows at Rochester and Philly Fringe. His comedy blends surrealist storytelling with hard hitting jokes. He's also known for his viral Instagram videos, and as the lead in the film Suburban Pimp. His first comedy special Toast For Dinner is now in post-production. Francesca Maglione is a vibrant and charismatic comic who effortlessly brings laughter to stages both in the heart of New York City and across international borders. This native New Yorker has a magnetic stage presence and a knack for connecting with diverse audiences. She’s performed at Laughs Comedy Club Seattle and Helium Comedy Club Philadelphia.

AVANT LA TERREUR Six ans après sa dernière création, Vincent Macaigne poursuit sa rencontre avec Shakespeare, entamée avec Au moins j’aurais laissé un beau cadavre, adaptation d’Hamlet, en 2011. Avant la terreur, librement inspiré de Richard III de Shakespeare et d’autres textes, prolongera ainsi Hamlet ou l’Idiot de Dostoïevski. Vincent Macaigne dessine dans cette nouvelle création un monde où résident beauté et cruauté, furie et passion. Un monde reflet de ce que produit notre bêtise, la bêtise de notre histoire, de notre passé, de cette quête de pouvoir qui terrorise notre passé et notre avenir. Il voit dans Richard III un groupe formé « d’un cercle d’individus qui rêvent de pouvoir avec cruauté et burlesque » ; et se propose de retraverser cette épopée avec sa troupe historique pour essayer de rire de nos sauvageries, de notre idiotie, expulser avec joie et bouffonnerie ces forces noires et en faire la catharsis. La pièce interroge la brutalité humaine, que seule la présence de l’enfance peut parfois suspendre. Elle se situe dans un univers noyé par la fiction, dans une société en proie  au doute, dirigée par des rois malades et isolés, et où les informations ne passent plus ou passent trop. Connu pour ses mises en scène débordantes - on se souvient également de Je suis un pays (2017) –, Vincent Macaigne crée une pièce à la fois politique et burlesque, dans la lignée des pièces de bouffonnerie violente du Moyen-Âge. Un théâtre singulier et d’une redoutable contemporanéité.

SCREENING + WORKSHOP | LOCAL RESILIENCE AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT La Garrotxa is a rural region in northern Spain that is home to 21 municipalities and over 500 local community organisations. Several of those municipalities are now run by mayors and town councils who share a commitment to increase citizen participation, ecological sustainability, and overall regional resilience, and who work together regardless of their different political colours. Of the 500+ local community organisations, nearly 100 are dedicated to social and ecological issues and, over the years, have successfully increased public awareness and created political space for positive social and ecological change. One of the driving forces behind this transformation is Resilience Earth [https://resilience.earth/], a nonprofit cooperative committed to community resilience and regenerative design.  CELL and LUCA invite you to join for a presentation of the project La Garrotxa [https://municipalitiesintransition.org/harvesting/la-garrotxa-territori-resilient/], followed by an interactive workshop in which participants will dive into the framework and methodologies of regional resilience and regeneration.
