ReSoXy studies the music practice and intangible cultural heritage of the forgotten and declining musical instruments through digitization and participatory creative approaches, in particular, recording and replicating the fixed, ten keys manza xylophone collection of RMCA. These xylophones were owned and performed by the Azande chiefs and notables in the north of Democratic Republic of Congo.

ReSoXy étudie la pratique musicale et le patrimoine culturel immatériel des instruments de musique oubliés et en déclin par le biais de la numérisation et d’approches créatives participatives, en particulier l’enregistrement et la reproduction de la collection de xylophones manza à dix touches du MRAC. Ces xylophones appartenaient aux chefs et notables Azande du nord de la République démocratique du Congo et étaient joués par ceux-ci.

ReSoXy onderzoekt de muzikale praktijk en het immaterieel cultureel erfgoed van vergeten en in verval geraakte muziekinstrumenten door middel van digitalisering en participatieve creatieve benaderingen, in het bijzonder de opname en reproductie van de collectie Manza xylofoons met tien toetsen van het KMCA. Deze xylofoons behoorden toe aan en werden bespeeld door Azande opperhoofden en notabelen in het noorden van de Democratische Republiek Congo.
