June 24th is the day of St John the Baptist, and so water- baptismal, not rain, fortunately - is vividly depicted in our two cantatas. We end our season with one of Bach's most brilliant and joyous choral fantasies. Enjoy the summer, and we'll be back on 29 September!

Le 24 juin, nous fêtons saint Jean Baptiste et donc l’eau baptismale – fort heureusement, plutôt que la pluie! – est décrite avec vivacité dans nos deux cantates.
