Saad Keys: Spiritual piano improvisations

Description

"Saad is a Moroccan-French multi-instrumentalist that grew up surrounded with Morroccan Gnawa, classical indian music and latin influences. Usually using multiple instruments he loves to focus on the piano solo for soulful and improvised explorations in which he can summon all his influences."
Saad was born and raised in Morocco, surrounded by world music and fusion jazz. He started playing on stage with his father at the age of 10.
Moving to France at 18, he recorded and performed with major Parisian funk bands as a keyboardist.
Now Brussels based, he develops a solo project "Saad Keys" where he blends all his influences and leverages his mastering of several instruments.
For this unique concert at Art Base, Saad will focus on his favourite instrument, the piano, for soulful and improvised explorations
in which he will summon all his influences.
Saad draws his inspiration from artists like Keith Jarret,
Avishai Cohen and Ravi Shankar.
Don't miss this unique moment of intimate and free improvisation.
