A+ Architecture in Belgium and Bozar invite Brussels-based collective Rotor to a retrospective lecture on 15 October 2024. This lecture kicks off the exhibition Entangled Matter, with films by Bêka & Lemoine, dedicated to Rotor’s research, vision and operation. The exhibition sheds light on the contemporary challenges facing the construction industry.
Rotor has been known for its work on ecology, architecture, and the reuse of materials for almost 20 years. They constantly strive to investigate and question the organisation of material flows through a broad spectrum of projects (interior design, research, consultancy, exhibitions, publications, the development of a cooperative association, etc.). We invite you to come and discover their practice during this opening night. Your ticket for Rotor’s lecture also grants access to the vernissage of the Entangled Matter exhibition.
Rotor has won several awards, including the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture, presented by the LOCUS Foundation under the supervision of UNESCO.
The exhibition and lecture are accompanied by a special issue of the magazine, A+310 Material Flows, of which Rotor is a guest editor.

Le 15 octobre 2024, A+ Architecture in Belgium et Bozar ont le plaisir de recevoir le collectif bruxellois Rotor pour une conférence rétrospective. Celle-ci marque l’ouverture de l’exposition Entangled Matter consacrée à son travail et les recherches qu’il mène. L’exposition comprend aussi des courts métrages inédits réalisés par Bêka & Lemoine. Entangled Matter soulève ainsi les enjeux auxquels le secteur de la construction fait face aujourd’hui.
Depuis près de 20 ans, Rotor explore l’organisation de ces flux à travers divers projets tels que le design intérieur, la recherche, la consultance, les expositions et les publications. Le collectif s'est fait connaître pour son engagement dans les domaines de l’écologie, l’architecture et du réemploi des matériaux. Nous vous invitons à venir découvrir leur pratique lors de cette soirée inaugurale. Votre ticket pour la conférence de Rotor vous donne accès au vernissage de l’exposition Entangled Matter.
Rotor a été honoré de nombreux prix, dont le Global Award for Sustainable Architecture, décerné par la LOCUS Foundation sous la protection de l’UNESCO.
L'exposition et la conférence inaugurale sont accompagnées d'un numéro spécial de la revue : A+310 Material Flows, dont Rotor est co-rédacteur.

Op 15 oktober 2024 nodigen A+ Architecture in Belgium en Bozar het Brusselse collectief Rotor uit voor een retrospectieve lezing. Deze lezing geeft de aftrap voor de tentoonstelling Entangled Matter, met films door Bêka & Lemoine, die gewijd is aan het onderzoek, de visie en de werking van Rotor. De expo werpt licht op de hedendaagse uitdagingen waarmee de bouwsector geconfronteerd wordt.
Rotor staat al bijna 20 jaar bekend om zijn werk op het gebied van ecologie, architectuur en het hergebruik van materiaal. Met een breed spectrum aan projecten (interieurontwerp, onderzoek, adviesverlening, tentoonstellingen, publicaties, de ontwikkeling van een coöperatieve vereniging, etc.) streven zij er voortdurend naar om de organisatie van materiaalstromen te onderzoeken en in vraag te stellen. We nodigen je uit om hun praktijk te komen ontdekken tijdens deze openingsavond.
Je ticket voor de lezing van Rotor geeft ook toegang tot de vernissage van de tentoonstelling Entangled Matter.
Rotor heeft verschillende prijzen gewonnen, waaronder de Global Award for Sustainable Architecture, uitgereikt door de LOCUS Foundation onder toezicht van UNESCO.
De tentoonstelling en lezing gaan gepaard met een speciale uitgave van het magazine, A+310 Material Flows, waarvan Rotor gastredacteur is.
