Nostos- Tarantella Power ( Italia)

Beschrijving

The myth of tarantula is still alive today, it releases signs of the past and at the same time reflects the present mainly through the contact among people and the comparison of lifestyles that constantly change over the years. Tarantella is a means of communication which expresses the origin and culture of Italy. The music of Nostos is a mixture of songs that revisits popular music while combining tradition, modern expression needs and personal experiences.
A group that represents a contemporary version of the popular music of South Italy and the Mediterranean sounds on the whole. In the work of NOSTOS one can find a fascinating tarantella, a simple love melody or a greek-originated song of South Italy, always in the spirit of the 21st century music; sounds and rhythms generated by the musicians belong to a world familiar to all of us.
