Description
Het Stadspark van Maastricht wordt weer omgetoverd tot één groot sfeervol openlucht restaurant. De eerdere edities van Festival TREK in Maastricht waren een groot succes. Ook dit jaar weer vindt het food truck festival plaats in het Maastrichtse Stadspark. Van donderdag 19 t/m zondag 22 mei staat het stadspark in het teken van lekker eten, live muziek en theater, oftewel: het gratis toegankelijke Festival TREK – MAASTRICHT.

Small Jackets
Amazing Rock’n’Roll band from Italy, Discovered by many through Spotify, this
foursome shared the stage with internationals rock’n’roll artists like The Lords
of Altamont, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Quierboys, Hardcore Superstars, Danko
Jones, Thunder Express, Imperial State Electric, The Hellacopters and more.
Album Walking the Boogie features Nick Royale Anderson and Robert Strings
Dahlqvist (The Hellacopters), who played solos on Forever Night.
The Dirty Denims
Co-host of this festival The Dirty Denims will celebrate the birth of their new
album during this first edition! The Dirty Denims from The Netherlands play
hardrock that makes you feel good. Combined with rock 'n roll, powerpop and a
slice of punkrock it sounds like AC/DC, KISS, Joan Jett, Ramones and The Donnas.
They bring you an energetic fun show. They played on large Dutch festivals like
Lowlands, Rockin' Park, Zwarte Cross and Bospop and supported Slash, Whitesnake,
Airbourne, Golden Earring, Extreme, Cheap Trick, Steel Panther and
Thundermother.
WildHeart
WildHeart from Belgium is a band with a great love for the 80s and the classic
hard rock and glam metal from that period. Bands such as Whitesnake, RATT,
Mötley Crüe, Dokken, Van Halen are their inspiration and you can clearly hear
that in their song writing. WildHeart catapults you back to the Sunset Strip
anno 1986 and lets you relive the golden '80s! They shared the stage with bands
like LA Guns, Skid Row, H.E.A.T., Eclipse, Crazy Lixx, Evil Invaders, Night
Ranger, Marco Mendoza and Y&T. In 2022 they played the prestigious Alcatraz
Metal festival in Belgium.
Sweet Electric
Sweet Electric is a German-Australian band that plays classic heavy rock, glam
and Retro Rock'n'Roll! Singer Brad Marr (also known from the band Massive) is
the swirling center, a high-energy performer in the midst of a raging storm with
extraordinary musicians (some of them known from The Gäs). Furious guitar riffs,
sparkling drums, bittersweet melodies and a good dose of self-irony. A
distillate of the best rock'n'roll of the 70s and 80s at the highest level
years, garnished with a pinch of modern guitar rock. In their short existence
they already played a tour with Ex-Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell.
Foxy Venus
Foxy Venus is the hottest band in the modern glam rock scene. With both their
nostalgic sound and their flamboyant looks, these five youngsters from The
Netherlands are sure to make you feel like you travelled back in time. Let their
music bring the sound of the 80s right to you and get lost in the heavy guitars,
powerful vocals and steady rhythm!
Dirty Toy Company
Emerging from the rainy roadsides of Belgium, Dirty Toy Company delivers the
finest form of fresh, flamboyant and ferocious Rock'n'Roll. Originally formed in

Hangar Festival is an electronic music festival happening on the last weekend of
April. During these two days, Hangar offers world-renowned artists the chance to
reconnect with their Belgian audiences in a breathtaking setting.
A show that's as musical as it is visual, an immersive scenography and a
production designed down to the last detail to make its customers feel at home.
Located on the outskirts of Brussels, the Hangar Festival is easily accessible
by public transport, bike or car, with parking available. It will welcome
approximately 4,000 people a day.
With the help of the Red Cross and Brussels-based prevention organizations, we
aim to make the Hangar Festival a place where festival-goers can feel safe,
meet, unite and share their passion for music.
Alongside this, participants can enjoy a tasty experience offered by the various
food trucks on site.

Les Équinoxes est un festival de musique féministe, qui se veut accessible à
toustes. Notre objectif est d'encourager l'égalité, l'inclusion et la diversité,
par la mise en avant de talents divers, et en particulier des femmes, et ce,
dans le respect de notre environnement.
Notre festival tend vers quatre axes :
Féministe - Car ce projet de festival émerge du constat d'un manque de
représentativité des artistes féminines lors d’évènements musicaux d’ampleur. Ce
festival souhaite donner plus de visibilité à ces femmes et à leur travail en
mettant en place une programmation composée au moins pour moitié de femmes et de
personnes issues d'autres minorités sexuelles et de genres.
Inclusif- Car ce festival se veut l'allié des différentes luttes sociales. C'est
pourquoi nous ferons particulièrement attention aux diversités pour la
programmation et l'accueil du public notamment en termes d'origines ethniques,
culturelles, socio-économiques, de situations de santé physique et mentale,
d'âges et de spiritualités.
Accessible- Car au-delà des barrières socio-économico- culturelles, nous tenons
avant tout à ce que le festival soit un grand moment de partage, réunissant des
êtres humains de toutes origines et de tous milieux.
Durable- Car le festival Les Équinoxes se fait également le porte-voix d’une

(Pas si) Fragile! the Next Performance Art Generation is a biennial springboard
for emerging artists working in performance art: Its formula modifies with each
new iteration. 2024’s edition will unfold at Studio Thor, which has been running
the project ever since 2020, at Les Halles de Schaerbeek and at La Balsamine.
As with previous iterations, (Pas si) Fragile! will feature a host of young
artists who have recently graduated from Wallonia-Brussels’ visual arts schools.
These institutions devote part of their curriculum to performance art,
responding to the new dynamic generated by these practices within the
professional artistic field.
This year its scope will differ somewhat, however, for this endeavour will be
expanded to include the presentation of work by some fifteen young artists from
right across Europe: Finland, Greece, Ireland, Poland and Slovenia.
In total, some thirty emerging artists will animate this intensive three-day
programme, at the intersection of local practice here in Belgium and two
projects featuring an international dimension, namely Performing Identity and
Time For Live Art.
