We are thrilled to announce that for our 14th edition of Music@Mari's we have some returning guests!


After their magical concert last year, Alagoan talents Bruno Berle & batata boy are set to return for a full blown residency and a double show! They will be joined by none other than Nyron Higor, also hailing from Alagoas Brasil, coming off a fresh debut album release and Brussels own soul innovator Reinel Bakole who, after a handfull of shows in Rio de Janeiro and SĂŁo Paulo this February, came to collaborate with all three artists.

For the first show on Thursday 08/05 batata boy will be leading the concert with his own ingenious productions from his debut album "MAGICLEOMIXTAPE (quando vê, já foi)" . Bruno, Nyron & Reinel will be alternating and overlapping their vocals playing both released and exclusive, never-heard material! A unique night where sound & culture will collide into fireworks ✨

The second show on Friday 09/05 will be in a more intimate and acoustic setting, where we'll dive more into the discographies of Berle & Higor. Filled with raw, heart-moving songs and riveting vocal tones, they will engulf you in the upmost melancholy. batata will be accompanying the arrangements with a variety of instruments, as he was the producer of many of these tracks. In true Brazilian fashion: No musician shall remain quiet. Therefore the host of the evening Tomas Casella will also be joining the concert and showcase some of his own unreleased repertoire. The comforting therapy you did not know you needed 🌸

We are at a 10 minute walk from Gent-Sint-Pieters train station and will make sure the concerts end well before the last connections to Brussels, Antwerp,...
