About the speaker
A Dutch-American Amsterdam native, Clio started her music career touring with her father’s punk band and abandoned her formal education to manage bands and release vinyl records on various independent labels. Her strong connection to the underground music scene and dedication to supporting emerging artists not only defines her personal journey but also her professional role. At MassiveMusic, a Songtradr company and the music agency of record for some of the most famous brands in the world, she joined the Search & Licensing team, where her responsibilities include organizing artist showcases, (‘Live Sessions’) that highlight emerging talent. Prior to her current role as Music Supervisor, Clio worked for major players in the entertainment industry such as Apple Music and Live Nation. In her free time, she serves as a programmer at Imagine Fantastic Film Festival, The Netherlands’ leading genre film festival.
