WonderCat invites you to Impasto Painting Workshop where you will discover the bold and expressive world of impasto painting! Impasto is a technique where thick layers of paint create rich texture and dynamic movement, allowing you to bring depth and emotion to your artwork. This class will teach you how to sculpt with paint and make your paint strokes come alive.

You will learn:

🎨 How to mix and apply thick paint for texture and dimension
🎨 Techniques using brushes and palette knives
🎨 Tips on color mixing and creating depth with light & shadow
🎨 Ways to add energy and expression to your paintings

• Expert Instruction and lecture: Learn techniques from an experienced artist. The class will be accompanied by the lecture about the technique.

The workshop is organized by WonderCat. WonderCat is a creative project and art space, gallery and art school, led by multidisciplinary international artist Jana Komaritsa, currently based in Leiden. The initiative hosts a variety of creative events, art education activities, and art therapy sessions, aiming to foster a vibrant art community both locally and internationally.
