Description
Theatre maker Tamar Blom and drummer Thomas Jaspers are going into residence at POM to create together.They lock themselves up for a few days with 40 drums and are inspired by space, the physical experience of sound and overconsumption. The result of this residency will be shown this Friday.
Tamar makes performances and installations in which the spectator is addressed in a physical way and actually set in motion. This is done by means of intense spaces and actions. Thomas is an improviser and sound maker. He plays in various groups in experimental and improvised music.As a drummer he searches for the boundaries of the possibilities on his instruments. His ongoing search for the sound interaction of materials leads to surprising timbres.
