For the first time at the Festival Musiq3, we invite you to an exceptional evening of symphonic and electronic music in the legendary Studio 4. Conducted by English conductor Michael Seal, come and hear The Inextinguishable, the quintessential romantic work by Danish composer Carl Nielsen. Rarely performed, the power of this symphony connects us to the most primitive sources of the flow of life, to what affects human beings, animals and plants. We asked Antoine Pierre to create a bridge between symphonic music and his world. Surrounded by a unique cockpit of drums and electronics, Brussels-based drummer and producer Antoine Pierre has created a collection of samples that he organically mixes in real time with his own drum grooves. Whether it's pulsating synthesizers, snatches of otherworldly voices, or enchanted and troubled spurts of sound, each electronic element blends perfectly with the rhythms played live by Antoine. Sometimes hypnotic and captivating, sometimes blossoming with downtempo dub vibes, but always inventive and surprisingly layered, let yourself be tempted by a unique experience!

Pour la première fois au Festival Musiq3, nous vous convions à une soirée exceptionnelle où musique symphonique et électronique feront vibrer le mythique Studio 4. Sous la direction du chef anglais Michael Seal, venez entendre The Inextinguishable, œuvre romantique par excellence du compositeur danois Carl Nielsen. Rarement jouée, cette symphonie nous connecte par sa puissance aux sources les plus primitives du flux vital, à ce qui touche l'être humain, le monde animal et le monde végétal. Nous avons demandé à Antoine Pierre de créer un pont entre la musique symphonique et son univers. Entouré d'un cockpit unique de batterie et d'électronique, le batteur et producteur bruxellois Antoine Pierre a créé une collection de samples qu'il mélange organiquement et en temps réel avec ses propres grooves de batterie. Qu'il s'agisse de synthétiseurs pulsés, de bribes de voix d'un autre monde, ou de jaillissements sonores enchantés et troubles, chaque élément électronique s'intègre parfaitement aux rythmes joués en live par Antoine. Tantôt hypnotique et captivant, tantôt s'épanouissant sur des vibrations dub downtempo, mais toujours inventif et étonnamment stratifié, laissez-vous tenter par une expérience unique!

Voor de allereerste keer nodigt Festival Musiq3 je uit voor een avond vol symfonische én elektronische muziek in de legendarische Studio 4. Brussels Philharmonic brengt onder leiding van de Engelse dirigent Michael Seal De Onuitroeibare, hét romantische werk bij uitstek van de Deense componist Carl Nielsen. De muziek van deze zelden uitgevoerde symfonie put haar energie uit de meest primitieve oerkrachten van de mensen, de dieren en de planten. Op vraag van het festival verbindt daarnaast Antoine Pierre symfonische muziek met zijn eigen wereld. Genesteld in zijn unieke cockpit van drums en elektronica creëerde de Brusselse drummer en producer een verzameling samples die hij op organische wijze live mixt met zijn eigen drum-grooves. Of het nu gaat om pulserende synthesizers of flarden van bovenaardse of betoverende klanken, elk elektronisch element versmelt zich perfect met de ritmes die Antoine live speelt. Het geheel is dan weer hypnotiserend en meeslepend, dan weer opzwepend met downtempo dub vibes. De inventiviteit en de verrassingen zorgen voor een unieke ervaring.
