Description
The Laeken architect Henri Draps designed and built this Art Deco house for himself in 1931. Today it retains some of its original decorative features that have been carefully preserved by its current owners, including the window frames, ceramic tiles, stained-glass windows, items of furniture, soft furnishings and a floral mural that covers the walls of the entrance hall and stairwell, from the ground floor right up to the top floor!

Construite en 1931 par et pour l'architecte laekenois Henri Draps, cette maison Art Déco conserve encore une partie de son décor d'origine soigneusement préservé par ses propriétaires actuels: châssis, carrelages, vitraux, certains meubles, tapisseries et un décor mural d'inspiration florale qui orne les murs du hall et de la cage d'escalier, du rez-de-chaussée au dernier étage!

Dit art deco-huis dat in 1931 gebouwd werd door en voor de Lakense architect Henri Draps bevat nog een gedeelte van zijn oorspronkelijke interieur, dat zorgvuldig wordt bewaard door zijn huidige eigenaars: ramen, tegelvloeren, glas-in-loodramen, bepaalde meubelen, tapisserieën en een muurdecoratie met florale inslag die de muren van de inkomhal en de keldertrap siert, van op de benedenverdieping tot helemaal boven!
