Synopsis:
Negar SamakNejad, a 46-year-old university lecturer, holding a PhD in cognitive science and a passionate running coach, aims for a remarkable goal. Negar intends to become the first Iranian woman to continuously climb Mount Damavand from all four fronts to the peak. Standing at an impressive 5,609 meters, Mount Damavand is both the highest peak in Iran and the third-highest volcano in the Eastern Hemisphere.
Director's Biography:
Sam Kalantari is an Iranian film director and professional photographer. He is considered to be the fourth generation of Iranian documentary filmmakers, being involved in the production of over fifteen films, including documentaries and series in different countries.

Synopsis :
Negar SamakNejad (46 ans), titulaire d’un doctorat en sciences cognitives et passionnée d’entraînement en course à pied, vise un objectif remarquable. Elle rêve de devenir la première femme iranienne à escalader sans interruption le mont Damavand, en empruntant ses quatre faces jusqu’au sommet. Le mont Damavand (5 609 mètres) est à la fois le plus haut sommet d’Iran et le troisième volcan le plus haut de l’hémisphère oriental. Elle réussit finalement, mais le goût du succès a un côté amer.

Sam Kalantari est un réalisateur iranien et photographe professionnel. Il est considéré comme faisant partie de la quatrième génération de documentaristes iraniens et a participé à la production de plus de quinze films, incluant des documentaires et des séries, dans différents pays.
