Een prachtig nieuw concert in de serie huisconcerten in Pijnacker. Damiën Heemskerk speelt een programma met onder andere Satie, Godowsky en de beroemde tweede sonate van Chopin, een spannend en virtuoos meesterwerk waarmee Chopin de grenzen van traditie en wat mogelijk is in muziek breekt. Bij het brede publiek is de sonate vooral bekend door het beroemde derde deel: de begrafenismars.

Toegang voor het concert is gratis! Wel zal tijdens het concert worden gevraagd om een vrijwillige donatie/bijdrage (dit kan zowel contant als via het scannen van een QR-code). Het concert begint 15:00, inloop vanaf 14:30. Na afloop wordt koffie/thee of andere versnaperingen geserveerd en is het mogelijk om met de artiest te praten.

De locatie is Velduillande 22. Fietsen kunnen bij het huis worden geparkeerd, ook voor auto's is (beperkt) plaats hier of elders in de wijk. Er is een goede metroverbinding, vanaf station Pijnacker centrum is het max 10 minuten lopen naar de concertlocatie.

A wonderful new concert in the series living room concerts in Pijnacker. Damiën Heemskerk plays a program with, among others, music by Satie, Godowsky and the famous second sonata by Chopin, an exciting and virtuosic masterpiece where Chopin breaks with the traditions of classical music and explores the possibilities of piano music in general. Among most people, the sonata has gathered the most fame with it's third movement; the funeral march.

Entrance to the concert is free. However, during the concert there will be asked for a voluntary donation (possible either through cash or scanning a QR-code). The concert starts 15:00, with walk-in from 14:30. After the concert you can stay for coffee/tea and a talk with the artist.

The location is Velduillande 22. Bikes can be parked at the house, for limited cars there is also space her or elsewhere in the neighbourhood. There is a good metroconnection with station Pijnacker centrum being a max. 10 minute walk to the concert location.
