Durch den Monsun is a meta-performative project, introducing Zoé Hagen’s alter ego Kombitcha—a (hyper)pop star who hasn’t written a hit (yet). Blending trembling concert and intimate storytelling, Zoé shares a raw tale of survival, transformation, and hope.In this third chapter, Zoé merges fully with Kombitcha, tracing their bumpy path to fame—a ride marked by chronic pain, mental health struggles, and a collapsing world. Success may seem out of reach, but along the way, new meanings emerge.Shifting between therapy and art, reality and fiction, Zoé’s performative concert resonates with a generation navigating instability, fragility, and the search for identity. • Zoé Hagen (they/them) is a transdisciplinary artist born in Switzerland at the end of the 90s, currently living and working in Brussels. After spending two years in theater school, they pursued a degree in Arts and Choreography (ISAC) at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels from which they stunningly graduated in 2023. Alongside their studies, Zoé has continuously expanded their creative practice, training on their own or collectively in various disciplines such as pole dancing, musical expression, writing, digital art, ASMR and make-up. Since then, they have been continuing to develop their artistic career, while trying to get regular sleep, eat well enough, deal with chronic pain and anxiety, maintain supportive social connections, and earn enough to survive in a challenging society

Durch den Monsun est un projet méta-performatif de Zoé Hagen, qui présente leur alter ego Kombitcha, une star (hyper)pop qui n’a pas (encore) écrit de hit. Entre concert tremblant et récit intime, Zoé partage une histoire brute de survie, de transformation et d’espoir.Dans ce troisième chapitre, Zoé fusionne entièrement avec Kombitcha, retraçant leur chemin cahoteux vers la célébrité—un parcours marqué par la douleur chronique, les troubles de la santé mentale et un monde en déclin. Le succès semble hors de portée, mais au fil du chemin, de nouveaux sens émergent. Oscillant entre thérapie et art, réalité et fiction, le concert performatif de Zoé résonne avec une génération en quête d’identité, confrontée à l’instabilité et à la fragilité du présent. • Zoé Hagen (iel) est un·e artiste transdisciplinaire né·e en Suisse à la fin des années 90, vivant et travaillant actuellement à Bruxelles. Après avoir passé deux ans à l'école de théâtre, iel a poursuivi un diplôme en Arts et Chorégraphie (ISAC) à la Royal Academy of Fine Arts de Bruxelles, où iel a brillamment obtenu son diplôme en 2023. Parallèlement à ses études, Zoé a continuellement élargi sa pratique créative, s’entraînant seul·e ou collectivement dans diverses disciplines telles que le pole dance, l’expression musicale, l’écriture, l'art numérique, l’ASMR et le maquillage.Depuis lors, iel continue de développer sa carrière artistique tout en essayant de dormir régulièrement, de bien manger, de gérer la douleur chronique et l’anxiété, de maintenir des connexions sociales soutenantes et de gagner suffisamment pour survivre dans une société difficile

In het langdurig project Durch den Monsun introduceert Zoé Hagen hun alter ego Kombitcha, een (hyper)popster die (nog) geen enkele hit heeft geschreven. Met een trillend concert en intieme storytelling deelt Zoé een rauw verhaal van overleven, transformatie en hoop.In dit derde hoofdstuk versmelt Zoé volledig met Kombitcha, en volgt die hun hobbelige weg naar roem—een rit getekend door chronische pijn, worstelingen met mentale gezondheid en een wereld die op instorten staat. Succes lijkt misschien onbereikbaar, maar onderweg krijgen nieuwe betekenissen vorm.Balancerend tussen therapie en kunst, realiteit en fictie, resoneert Zoé’s performatief concert met een generatie die zoekt naar houvast, identiteit en veerkracht in een wankele wereld. • Zoé Hagen (die/hun) is een transdisciplinaire kunstenaar, geboren in Zwitserland eind jaren ’90, die woont en werkt in Brussel. Na twee jaar toneelschool volgde die een opleiding in Kunst en Choreografie (ISAC) aan de Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten in Brussel, waar die in 2023 met verve afstudeerde. Naast hun studies bleef Zoé hun artistieke praktijk uitbreiden, door zichzelf of samen met anderen te trainen in uiteenlopende disciplines zoals paaldansen, muzikale expressie, schrijven, digitale kunst, ASMR en make-up.Sindsdien bouwt die verder aan hun artistieke carrière, terwijl die probeert om regelmatig te slapen, voldoende te eten, om te gaan met chronische pijn en angst, betekenisvolle sociale banden te onderhouden en genoeg te verdienen om te overleven in een veeleisende maatschappij
