Description

The ‘Hospice Guislain’ in Ghent has provided spiritual care, shelter and refuge for more than 150 years and for almost 40 years now, it has also housed a museum. For this exhibition, the writer Erwin Mortier returns to his former workplace and once again delves into the repositories of the Dr. Guislain Museum.

In this exhibition, you will learn about the history of the institution and the museum, as evidenced by items such as furniture, kitchen utensils, sculptures, photographs, books, works of art, letters, diaries and written records.
