OdeGand: Dazzling music show in the historical city centre

Description

OdeGand is a celebration of music on and along Ghent’s canals and in the historical city centre. Travel by boat or simply walk from one concert to the next and enjoy concerts of all genres.

Discover the many historical gems in the city and be swept off your feet by the surprising sounds, ranging from purely classical music to music from far away, as well as wonderful encounters between different musical worlds.

Join us in the afternoon En Route! and make your choice from one of 11 different routes along 3 musical spectacles. You can travel by boat or just stroll from one location to another through the beautiful city centre. In the evening, enjoy a breathtaking musical spectacle at Korenlei, Vrijdagmarkt and Sint-Baafsplein.

In the evening, Odegand Soirée takes you on a musical boat tour of hidden locations with evening concerts and performances.

Are you driving to Ghent? First check whether you may enter the city centre with your vehicle. Clean vehicles may enter the city centre free of charge, polluting vehicles have to pay. Is your vehicle allowed to enter, but do you not have a Belgian or Dutch number plate? You will ALWAYS have to register!
