Katermukke is a renowned electronic music label based in Berlin, known for its diverse and experimental sound within the realms of house and techno. Founded by DJ and producer Dirty Doering in 2011, the label emerged as a key player in Berlin's underground music scene, heavily influenced by the vibe of the legendary KaterBlau and the earlier Bar25 club. Katermukke releases range from deep and melodic techno to tech/house, often characterized by emotive melodies, groovy basslines, and a playful, hedonistic atmosphere.
The label has a strong emphasis on artistic freedom, allowing both emerging and established artists to experiment with unique and genre-blending sounds. It has released tracks from artists like Einmusik, Britta Arnold, Sascha Cawa, and Niconé, contributing to the pulsating energy that Berlin’s club culture is famous for.
