Evenementen in het verleden
DNa een onverwacht ongeluk komen een jonge muis met een opvliegend karakter en
een onzekere vos samen in de dierenhemel terecht. In deze nieuwe wereld moeten
ze leren hun natuurlijke instincten te bedwingen om met elkaar de uitdagingen
van deze prachtige, maar spannende omgeving aan te gaan. Hun reis is vol gevaren
en verrassingen, maar tijdens hun avonturen worden ze de beste vrienden.
De film is Nederlands gesproken, niet ondertiteld.

Après un accident inattendu, une jeune souris au caractère bien trempé et un
renard peu sûr de lui se retrouvent ensemble au paradis des animaux. Dans ce
nouveau monde, ils doivent apprendre à contrôler leurs instincts naturels pour
faire face, l'un avec l'autre, aux défis de cet environnement magnifique et
passionnant. Leur voyage est plein de dangers et de surprises, mais au cours de
leurs aventures, ils deviennent les meilleurs amis du monde.

DESCRIPTION
Mashiro enters, dressed in Yukata,
a casual Kimono for summer nights,
brings a wine bottle and a glass.
She will sit in the middle of the room,
and ask the people
how many glasses she should drink.
And from here, all she does is
to drink that wine as she is told.

Mashiro Tamura
A dancer, choreographer, and a performance maker from Tokyo, currently based in
Brussels. Her curiosity of creation centers around the narrative that a body
holds on the stage and how it can influence the audience’s position. Through
uncanny and cute satires, the question of power is posed, also referring to her
relationship with her own culture. She also holds a strong interest in music and
sound creation, which plays a vital role in the performance.
Alongside her education in p.a.r.t.s., Mashiro expands her creation and personal
works outside of the frame, also occasionally performing as a bassist.

Their behavior towards us and each other is concealed by the repetitive Piano
Phase of Steve Reich. With the music reflecting the repetition and
performativity of societal norms, this vicious circle both in soundscape and in
social settings sees three individuals' passage through moments of violence and
vulnerability. This work draws to question the notion of masculinity perpetuated
through the presence of gender norms and, consequently, the state of
internalised homophobia. Using a play of contradictions and observing moments of
sensuality and susceptibility, as the music of Reich begins to shift in
conjunction with shifting power dynamics, we begin to see an abstraction of
experiences and a transformation of these norms.

In Piano Phase, Steve Reich employs the compositional process of phasing or
phase shifting. In unison two pianos play a loop, as one slightly accelerates,
they progressively fall out of phase, creating an echo. It then becomes a new
melody when the superposed loops are back in phase with a delay. It’s just a
phase is a play between the 'phases’ in the musical score and the misconception
of queerness as 'a phase’.

Nicolas Dang
A French performing arts creator based in Brussels who focuses on creating new
representations and challenging norms. They use diverse artistic expressions to
embody intimate and political subjects. Currently studying in P.A.R.T.S. they
present their work within and outside the community.

Don Vitalski’s Legendarische Dinsdagclub is een revue die het midden houdt
tussen een Berlijns cabaret uit de jaren 20 en een bonte avond op fast forward.
Een wervelwind van acts, van goochelshow en burleske dans tot new wave muziek en
opera, vakkundig aan elkaar gesoldeerd door gastheer Don Vitalski. Dit alles

word als Alice in Wonderland : Ben ik het die gekrompen ben of is het de plek
die gegroeid is ?
En waar kinderen van 3 jaar en ouder een wereld vol volwassenen zullen zien -
maar dat zijn ze gewend -
zullen volwassenen zich op het niveau van een kind bevinden om een glimp op te
vangen van een onverwachte ontmoeting tussen een gipsen figuur, iemand die de
plek bewaakt en naïeve wijsheid uitstraalt, en een enthousiaste reiziger met een
zekere onhandigheid.
Uit deze tête-à-tête in een verwilderde tuin, wordt na het overwinnen van de
schrik, een vriendschap geboren die leidt tot een avontuur tussen bloempotten,
golven, stormen, eilanden en wat de verbeelding het beste aankan: de zee.

télescopage,

découvrir d’entre
