Bear McCreary

Bear McCreary is an award-winning composer who began as a student of famed film composer Elmer Bernstein. His big break came with the music for the series Battlestar Galactica in 2004. Since then, he has won several Emmys, including one for the theme of Da Vinci's Demons. McCreary composed music for epic series such as The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Outlander, The Walking Dead, and the video games God of War and God of War Ragnarök. His work for these games also earned him several Grammy nominations. In 2024, McCreary released The Singularity, a rock album he co-wrote with his brother Brendan. The album features contributions from rock legends such as Slash, Serj Tankian (System of a Down) and Corey Taylor (Slipknot).
