Le Barbier de Séville de G. Rossini

The Barber of Seville, the most famous opera by Gioachino Rossini, with a libretto by Cesare Sterbini, created in 1816 and considered by many as the masterpiece of Italian ""opera buffa,"" will be staged in the large Henry Le Bœuf Hall at Bozar. The story is based on the comedy The Barber of Seville or The Useless Precaution by Pierre de Beaumarchais. The opera will be staged under the artistic direction of Europa InCanto and Maestro Germano Neri. This version is an adaptation of the original opera and represents the final moment of the Scuola InCanto project, conducted in Belgian municipal primary schools and European schools in Belgium, coordinated by OperaMus with the support of its vocal coaches.

During 5 performances, children from 16 schools participating in the project will interact on stage with professional opera singers, in a burst of music and colors. After 6 months of preparation, children from 13 different nationalities will sing, in the original language, Italian, the most beautiful arias from the opera.

The Scuola InCanto school project in Belgium, now in its fifth edition, has been made possible thanks to the support of the Embassy of Italy in Belgium, the Consulate General of Italy in Brussels, the school offices of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Brussels and Charleroi, the Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels, and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, OLC program.

Le Barbier de Séville, l'opéra le plus connu de Gioachino Rossini, sur un livret de Cesare Sterbini, créé en 1816 et considéré par beaucoup comme le chef-d'œuvre de l'opéra « buffa »  italien, sera mis en scène dans la grande Salle Henry Le Bœuf du Bozar. L'histoire est tirée de la comédie Le Barbier de Séville ou la Précaution inutile de Pierre de Beaumarchais. L’opéra sera mis en scène sous la direction artistique d’Europa InCanto et du Maestro Germano Neri. Cette version est une adaptation de l’opéra original et représente le dernier moment du projet Scuola InCanto, mené dans les écoles primaires belges et européennes, avec la coordination d'OperaMus et le soutien de ses coachs vocaux.

Lors de 5 représentations, les enfants des 16 écoles participantes au projet interagiront sur scène avec des chanteurs d'opéra professionnels, dans une débauche de musique et de couleurs. Après 6 mois de préparation, les enfants de 13 nationalités différentes chanteront, en langue originale, l'italien, les plus beaux airs de l’opéra.

Le projet scolaire Scuola InCanto en Belgique, désormais à sa cinquième édition, a été réalisé grâce au soutien de l'Ambassade d'Italie en Belgique, du Consulat Général d'Italie à Bruxelles, des bureaux scolaires du Ministère des Affaires Étrangères Italien de Bruxelles et Charleroi, de l’Institut culturel italien de Bruxelles et de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, programme OLC.

De Barbier van Sevilla, de beroemdste opera van Gioachino Rossini, met een libretto van Cesare Sterbini, gecreëerd in 1816 en door velen beschouwd als het meesterwerk van de Italiaanse ""opera buffa"", wordt opgevoerd in de grote Henry Le Bœufzaal van Bozar. Het verhaal is gebaseerd op de komedie De Barbier van Sevilla of de Onnodige Voorzorg van Pierre de Beaumarchais. De opera zal worden opgevoerd onder de artistieke leiding van Europa InCanto en Maestro Germano Neri. Deze versie is een bewerking van de originele opera en vertegenwoordigt het laatste moment van het Scuola InCanto project, uitgevoerd in Belgische gemeentelijke basisscholen en Europese scholen in België, gecoördineerd door OperaMus met de steun van de vocale coaches.

Tijdens 5 voorstellingen zullen kinderen van 16 scholen die deelnemen aan het project interactie hebben op het podium met professionele operazangers, in een uitbunding van muziek en kleuren. Na 6 maanden voorbereiding zullen kinderen van 13 verschillende nationaliteiten de mooiste aria's uit de opera zingen in de originele taal, het Italiaans.
